I didn't have any problems with the marshalling at all.

It's tough marshalling hyperball because there is so much spray unless a judge is on top of every player it's hard to determine what was a hit and what was just spray. I had what I thought was a tough call go against me there for an over accumulation of spray but looking at it from the judge's point of view I have no arguement.

I do think it very silly for someone to be eliminated for leaving a squeegie though. That's not good. I take it that isn't actually in the rules?

Hey Matt,

Don't rise to it, I've been on the marshal end of a similar thing in the past - being called on the forum for a bad call in the playoffs - not a rule thing such as yours, just the usual marshal's eye view versus a players eye view who "wouldn't let it lie" - perhaps even from a player on this thread who is now taking the marshal's perspective. ;)

Right or wrong, all this doesn't get any of us anywhere. Let's just get on with playing and enjoy it.

I personally think it was a great day. Marshalling as we all know can be very difficult at times and we all miss things.

The only real problem I had on the day was when playing KELTIC WARRIORS 2 when their eliminated players stood out of the dead area with their other team, making a elimination count difficult as they all had the same jerseys on. Now I am not saying this was deliberate, probably not but what I am saying is the dead zone could have been better set out on the two SupaAir fields.

Apart from that a good day and see you all at the next round!

that should have been an easy one! Keltics 1 were all the ugly ones :) it wasn't a ploy,we they were just there to support us and in future we will make an effort if there are two teams in from us to stay "seperate"

all in all though i had a fantanstic day as did the rest of the guys. didn't really have any issues at all with the marshalls, in fact on the hyperball field when i was crawling to the diamond i heard one of the marshalls tell another one to move away from me as it would give my position away to the other team who hadn't seen me move!
as its been said in a fast paced game there are going to be good and bad calls. it's all part of the game and yes, it does suck to get a bad call against you but then by the law of averages you will get the benefit of a dubious call at some point.

oh and i would like to say a big thanks to manike for helping us out when a team mate pulled out at the last minute.
