I've attended asylum on several occasions before, at both sites aswell, and can honestly say i've never had one problem or one bad word to say against the chaps there. We've used asylum for walk ons, and an easy and relaxed training facility when my teammates and i have had no walk ons or games available or suitable for us to attend, and the chaps there have allowed us to use their facilities midweek, in the evenings, and are more than happy to help!
Ronnie and Glen have been superstars to be honest, letting us use their facilities whenever we wanted, their safety was top notch, they've always made us feel very welcome, we've always been properly supervised and all the aspects and areas of safety have been made clear.
They've had no problem with us playing as we want, and at whatever pace we wanted, it's been great for the team to have some time to ourselves to discuss things, and take a chilled out playing approach when we feel like it, anything we've wanted to do, or anything we've wanted to change, they've happily adapted and allowed us full access to any part of the site.
As for the not going out when shot, you'll find at walk ons it's going to happen, you always get the odd people that start it, and others often take the attitude if he's doing it, then i'm going to, the best option there is to address marshalls, get them to keep an eye on a certain person, or paint check them, or call them over and get them to watch whilst you shoot them!
Personally i'd reccomend asylum to anybody, it's a really good friendly professional set up, the guys who run it are great, the sites great, and they can accomodate anyone at anytime and you can play however you like, if you want a small number team training day, you can have it, they've opened up one night for 6 of us before, and are always enthusiastic to get you along, no matter how many of you want to go.
That's my opinion anyway, i can't fault the place and love going there, it's nothing but a fantastic atmosphere and i'm going to keep going back again and again. I hope nobody's been put off by the bad remarks, but definitaly go and try it out for yourself.
