Went asylum paintball Stockport last nite,Wat a joke it had a 12 year old marshalling the games, they don't play fair as no one goes out when shot then they wanted us 5 adults and 3kids under 13 to play against 20 odd of them as no one wanted to change sides, got the feeling we was going yo be used for cannon fodder.as for the boss and staff there attitude was terrible.so to sum things up if you want a good fair game with friendly people and staff avoid asylum paintball in Stockport

Nice.

I was there and although you had an issue i believe you never addressed it with the management until you were taking your kit off and walking out. Then you never even gave them chance to address it.
Everytime we have taken a group to Asylum the players have had nothing but praise for the night. And Aidy, who altough small is a very competent game manager/marshal and is also one of our better refs at the CPPS.

Normally i dont get involved in arguments outside our business but it is disappointing when you see posts like this based on one visit, and as mentioned above you never even gave the manager chance to correct the situation. Ronnie and Glenn do there upmost to look after there customers and have nurtured many young and old players into the game so it grows rather than do it for financial gain so i hope they dont get deflated and think sod it after a post like this.

I totally agree with Rich Harris on this. Last night was a great giggle.. Personally I think if you'd stayed for another 2 minutes and given the marshals to chance to talk to all the players you would of found that the situation was resolved in the arena.. Also I can vouch from my boys after nearly taking 3 hours to get on site loved it.. Infact can you book Temper into the next one Glen, and the next one and the one after that..

Well played boys and a credit to the boys who stuck around till the end its quite a daunting thought seeing Gav bum slide across a car bonnet whilst shooting from the hip...

Any damage Glenn invoice Gav for a bonnet.. lol

Great night

I too attended last night. The main point here is that no attempt to address the issue was made. I was in the arena at the time that there was a slight issue with team number balance being addressed. During this, instead of being patient, there was what can only be described as a dummy spit by the OP and his friends.

...a few minutes later everyone else was back on their triggers having a giggle and enjoying the carnage.

Regulars (with more than 1 post count ;)) will tell you that this night is always a good laugh in a laid back atmosphere.

I think we can completely disregard what you say here.
You're a first time poster and you are condemning a respected business here without giving them the opportunity to give their side of what went down ... I don't like first time moaners at the best of times ...

I know Ronnie, he's a good friend of mine and I also know, both he and his brother Glenn run a professional business up there and what you have done is given a one-sided attack with no attempt to be reasonable.
I am gonna ask Ronnie or Glenn to give their side of what went on ..

Nice one matey, you joined lastnight just to do what you told me you never did as you left........award winning!

Right, the issue at hand...........

We are truly gutted to see this post. For two reasons. First of all because we thrive upon customer feedback and them having a positive experience at our games. Up to this point we have not had any negative feed back from the walk ons, nor have we had a problem. The second reason is although you may have addressed it with the marshals you never came to me, the manager with the issue until you were taking your kit off and packing up. We accept your reason for not wanting to play if you feel the teams were unbalanced and you were worried about the kids being hurt but when you play in a mixed age game that can happen at any time in any game i,e, if the game played lead to your younger players being left in against many experienced players, would this have been wrong too?. It also dissapoints me that after trying to resolve the situation we also joked about posting on forums where your group said we are not interested in that as we just want to play and yet here you are posting having a very underhand dig at our operation. I am very sorry your experience at Asylum Paintball was not what you had hoped. We are very proud of the site and the delivery of our service. Still, Asylum Paintball is like YORKIE...............need i say more?
