PS And if he ever accuses me of 'defamation of character' - I could hardly be found guilty of something he's already done to himself - I think his own actions over recent years tend to speak a lot louder than anything I could have said about him.

Intresting, that PR website he setup to counter this thread is no longer publicly available, requires a login when you visit it.
Funny actually as the password protection isnt actually proper protection, you can still access all the site content.

Suppose ill take a backup... just in case :)

Having just read all of the rise and fool threads I must say I did enjoy reading them and some parts filled some.."so that's what happened" momments.

Having started in the late 80's/early 90's some of those things made sense to those of us in the little leagues. Whilst the big boys were in upper leagues, the little fish were running around chuckling, showing off welts and hiding bills from the mrs, but you do tend to hear things but mostly 9th or 10th hand..Mayhem Abridge mostly, boy did they like to gossip :D

The Preds being robbed did filter down and through pbuk magazine/paintball monthly? .It was a dissapointment for some of us on the fringe also especially as you mention, the big I am's were stateside. but the preds were something quite special.

In the 90's paintball was in the boom and even our little site seemed to be making money hand over fist and this as you pointed out, attracted a lot of chancers and opportunists who saw profit from paintball rather than those who loved paintball and happened to make a profit

Semi's did change things as evolution often does. Robbo, I appreciate the time you took to write this but also some reflective moments that showed sometimes we are all own enemy

As to the gentleman concerned in your last part, Timothy..whilst you for your part will be the first to admit you would not have been on everyone's christmas card list, Timothy it seems upset many of the people who would not normally get upset and that I feel is a person who will always receive Kharma when the need arrives. Being a cock often see's that result.

Apart from that, Thanks for the write ups, Loved reading them, cheers

Noobie, the original idea was to let people know what we have in our midst - that particular goal was successful.
And going by the sheer number of people who took the trouble to read it, I've done my job.

He's been keeping his head down of late but I have little doubt his true nature will once again rear up when someone else falls foul of his deeds and when he does, I'll be there waiting .....
I did hear he has a new nickname of 'phillips' ... anyone care to guess why ???

:)

Play it like you mean it
I have read this thread with interest, since it started. And it looks like something good has come from it, namely that Valken is now back in the hands of sensible people who want to further our sport, not the aforementioned TB. Karma, as someone has said, has started to come round ! I look forward to valken reestablishing it self amongst the paintball fraternity in the UK, and hope that being touched by TB for a time hasn't destroyed its reputation.

Keep up the good work Pete!

Hi Klaus, it was always gonna end bad with him.
As to how I knew it was gonna go that way?
Most every other concern he's been involved with other people, has gone belly up.
I knew damned well he was gonna part company and it was just a matter of time.
I think it's now obvious that he is profoundly unable to sustain a relationship with other people.
Whether he jumped or was pushed, it doesn't really matter; I think I'd be jumping for joy as soon as he went.
Brighter times ahead I think .....

Seems as though customer power does work - all those people following an ABS (anyone but shoreline) policy must have been cramping sales.

Now that Valken have given them the boot, who stocks/distributes Valken gear & paint in the UK?

I'm afraid you can only get away with the sort of sh!t he got up to for a limited amount of time - eventually, past deeds come back around and this is exactly what seems to have happened.
His presence in our beloved sport [and industry] is now relatively curtailed such that you hardly hear a whimper now.
His inevitable severance from Valken was one of the final nails but I'm afraid people who possess his psychopathology do not change, change is beyond them - they merely blame others and continue with the same mindset.
As far as I'm concerned, he's history and as long as he behaves himself and doesn't fuhk anyone else over, you'll hear no more from me on the subject.
