I think it's safe to assume that Anthrax are in full possession of the facts surrounding barnett's recent financial behaviour with Valken and Maxxs etc ...
I doubt Anthrax will be extending any credit line to barnett and they'll be extremely careful in any of their dealings with him.
Slowly but surely barnett will begin to experience a contraction in his ability to promote events and / or get companies involved in any of his games which will pretty much punctuate his demise.
I think the only question that remains is how long the endgame lasts for barnett .... we shall see soon enough I suppose.

I think it's an association that has an extremely short time-line attached to it.
Anthrax already know what they need to know about barnett and they will soon discover the harsh reality of barnett bullsh!t whereby the numbers actually crunched at the next event is gonna be way short of expectation.
barnett promises much but delivers little - i doubt Anthrax will be as eager next time around.

Here it is guys :-

Announcement From The UK Paintball Awards.

It is with regret that after 10 years of the UK paintball Awards, I am drawing a close to the Awards with immediate effect.

Wembley promised to be an amazing venue, but after a lot of soul searching it is not to be.

There are several reasons behind this decision:-
1) The awards does attract quite a lot of attention, and more & more of it is getting negative. I have been accused of being corrupt, taking bribes, making up results, favouring certain winners, ensuring certain people don't win and much more. I really don't see why i should put so much time & effort into something that is just going to get slated, and a lot of the time slated by people who don’t play, or who publicly don’t support the awards.

2) The awards are run in my spare time. I do not get paid to do this. I am spending more and more time on the event as it grows, and getting less & less out of it, and less & less thanks or appreciation. When i first took it on our first night was 34 chaps in a room, and it has grown to just over 200 attendees and in much bigger & better venues. The general negative attitude and personal abuse aimed at the event & myself have taken their toll.

3) Financially, it is a massive thing to take on. Over the 10 years, I've had 2 partners who've help me out with this and 1 year when i went it alone. I could not have done it without this help, and indeed the year i didn't have it almost caused me a nervous breakdown. It’s a huge risk even with the partners, and one that I’m struggling to justify that I should take any longer.

4) The time has come for it to be no more. This is one of the hardest decisions i’ve had to make, as i still believe the awards are a good thing, but there are too many people out there who seem intent on ruining it. The community is just not there anymore, and while I could still put it on for 2015 and beyond, it is time to call it a day as it’s not beneficial to the UK paintball scene anymore. We were the only country to host an awards, and other people in other countries have taken an interest and started there own using our model. I am still very proud of this and what I achieved and from the support of everyone who nominated, voted & turned up at every one of the awards nights in the past 10 years.

I’ll not be going anywhere, and will still be playing.. in-fact, I will probably have more time to attend events, play, drink, socialise and generally cock about with my mates.

Refunds will be dealt with soon, and the website will also be going offline shortly.

I don't know this Cambo guy but I do know this much, if there had been no involvement from barnett, I think there'd be a different outcome for the awards night.

If Cambo is an ok guy then he's another prime example of barnett's collateral damage portfolio.

I've had some people vouch for this Cambo guy and they said he's a good guy who's been caught up in this whole 'barnett' thingy.

Maybe this could be a great opportunity to rebuild and to move past this crap barnett leaves in his wake.
Slowly but surely we are now watching barnett's demise ... As far as I'm concerned, it looks like my job is coming to an end ... Good riddance!!!
