i don't think its what the conviction was for, i believe its more to do with lying to people saying he was refused a visa for assault (totally being a hero) when in reality, its a pretty serious drugs charge (sweaty twit)

I think I'd be more inclined to defend the accusation surrounding the kids more than anything leastwise with me it would.
The only reason I can think of that would explain his reticence to deal with the sexual abuse accusations is that, he knows full well they are fictional - can anyone think of any other reason why he'd remain quiet on an issue as serious as this?
It's a heinous accusation when it's true; but in this case it isn't true which makes it even more disgusting he would stoop so low.
That, amidst everything else will be the main determinant for most people now reconsidering their alliances or associations with such a person as he.

If the drugs were the real reason for being refused US entry both Timothy and Dale are going to look like utter dimtwits. dale ford is a gullible fool whose loyalty can bought for the price of an ad on that silly ford report he sends out every month.
His recent connection with barnett hasn't done him any favours which makes it all the more galling he continues to make excuses for him ... it just shows you how low some people will stoop when someone throws a few bucks on the pavement.

In the light of what’s been going on in this thread, I think it’s time a deep breath was taken and we can take stock of what’s happened.
From paintball’s point of view, the problems with barnett were never about ‘me vs him’ but I can appreciate how people might have thought as much.
It’s a lot more important than anything personal between myself and he.
I haven’t orchestrated a damn thing here, I wrote the first post and then the floodgates opened, not because of any conspiratorial nonsense that’s been suggested but because barnett truly has fuhk’d off and betrayed soooo many people.
For those people, the timing was right and they came to state their case, nothing more.
They took a deep breath and joined the thread explaining their own sorry tale concerning barnett.
Lee Wickham’s post was obviously a bolt out of the blue, I knew there had been problems but his revelations re barnett read like something from a family horror story as he detailed how barnett had cheated his own sister, and a whole slew of other actions that a lot of reasonable-minded people would tend to disbelieve on first hearing.
Unfortunately though, barnett did in fact do these things which takes this drama into a whole new arena of betrayal.
And so, what now?
I think it obvious a lot of people now know the real barnett … his retaliatory accusations fell on disbelieving ears leaving but a skeleton crew of hangers-on still adherent to barnett’s anal passage.
barnett will have to try and do some form of damage limitation exercise because this is his only option because an honourable retreat to pastures new is never gonna be on his agenda, he just doesn’t entertain any notion of guilt or responsibility here.
He really is a classic example of clinical megalomania …. And as such, he cannot take blame for any of his actions - in his head, he has nothing to apologise for .. he hasn’t done anything wrong, everyone else has … they’re all lying of course according to him…. But no matter how many times he may say this to himself, it won’t ever be true … barnett is ill ….. a sociopath whose moral compass span round and round and disappeared up his own ass pushing aside dale ford and sables as it moved northward along his rectal passage.
The only way people can redress any wrongdoings by barnett is by estranging themselves from him.
We are not talking about loyalties here anymore, his actions have gone waay past any of that. I realise people such as dale ford and sables will try to hang on for whatever reason they see fit but I’m afraid their opportunity to salvage any respect is fading fast.
I realise there will be a few players who might seek to ignore the wrongdoings of barnett and end up still attending his events but the bottom line here is, as an industry, we strive for better representation than barnett has thus far exhibited.
barnett can’t be judged for his rec-scenario events no more than Adolf was judged on his economic policy - the bigger picture takes precedence, and rightly so!
And does anybody really believe that any association with barnett is gonna go unacknowledged?
His stench will infect everyone around him … some people may endure for financial reasons but there comes a time when you really cannot turn a blind eye to what’s been stated on here, not just by me but the other people, people like Lee Wickham, Pete Russell and many more.
Our industry has to recognise the damage that can be done if associations are continued with him, and I tell you this much, barnett can’t change, it’s impossible for him to do so - he needs clinical assistance not supportive excuses.
