He is always shouting how he organised an event in Croatia. Does this sound like an event?

I would also suggest you contact the owner of the site used for Tango Down

They had to close one of the buildings they were using as a kill house as the floor became too slippery and a player hit the wall with a lot of force hurting his wrist. It does not look like the site owner knew he was using non clear paint as he asked his staff to wipe the walls down with cloths. On the Sunday the site owner turned up to see what tim had done. Tim then asked his marshals to pack up quickly and leave.

He really does not have a clue what so ever how to run an event. The prison game he has planned will just be dangerous as the floors will be too slippery. Also the site maybe or is being used for public tours at the moment i don't think they'll like the site covered in coloured paint as

Well, I've been watching this thread for a while ever since the Tango Down event that shoreline hosted.

I am one of the staff of the site that was used for Tango Down. The site is right on the south coast. It is a fairly new site, (just coming up to 1 and a half years old) primarily dealing with airsoft and branching into laser tag currently. We are also not the only users of the land and I cannot speak for the other primary user (a Dog training Unit)

No we did not know he was using non clear paint until the end of the saturday. The owner was under the impression that clear paint was to be used so not too happy on that front. We were also suprised to see that he had decided to ignore our no smoke in buildings ruling we have. As we have found any smoke in buildings rapidly builds up and in some buildings, particularly the showerblock and some of the smaller barracks buildings the smoke rapidly causes difficulty in breathing.

We ended up clearing the majority of the external surfaces that sunday afternoon and are less than impressed with Mr Barnett, especially since the paint, and I quote his words, "turns to white powder in 3-4 days and just brushes off". It didn't and one of our buildings is still out of action due to the combination of smoke residue and paint residue and how they have combined and turned the floor into a skating rink.

Looking at the remnants of the pyro used onsite I am amazed they didn't get a surprise visit from the coast guard. Numerous Red and Orange smoke grenades were littering the site. (These two colours, in addition to Yellow and Pink are colours we do not use due to being so close to the coast and thus not wanting to accidentally call out the coastguard).

As for his capability to run an event, he doesn't have even the faintest idea about forward preparation. Despite this event having been agreed since April/June 2014 with us no real effort on his part was made to how the site is bar one visit in January 2015.
Given we are constantly striving to improve the experience our customers get we have been busy modifying barricades and buildings. None of this he knew about until Friday afternoon of the Tango Down event when he rolled onto site.
After a quick tour provided by myself he then sat down to write the games for the following 2 days.

Now I cant say how things are typically done in the paintball industry as many places will do things in their own way, but for us running the airsoft side we typically have our games planned out a week or so in advance for our alternate week games. For our bigger events we have always aimed to have games planned out a month or so in advance to provided a detailed player pack for the players attending. When hosting events at other sites we make an effort to regularly visit the location to see any developments that may result in us having to alter our plans.

All in all, we of the site were not impressed with Shoreline and Mr Barnett in particular and whilst it was his first time onsite, it will also be his last. It for the foreseeable future is also the last paintball event that will be run onsite. The site owner has been informed that not all paintball companies are like Mr Barnett and shoreline, however should another event be agreed with any paintball company I would presume that it would be held to much stricter standards of what can and cannot be done.

I personally have quite enjoyed keeping up to date on this thread (and back reading on it as well) I spotted this thread and wondered if the Tango Down event would be brought up or not.

Past several weeks more posts and accounts of barnett has come to light.
We all make our own personal judgment of individuals.
Many has spoken out in public.
Many decide to put their heads in the sand.
Then there are those who thinks this is all about Robbo and barnett.

Those still in doubt, should wake up, see what damages have already been done. This is not just about who barnett has ripped-off or whoever he decides to marry after getting a divorce. This idiot has ruined many sites/milatary sites/games in the UK and abroad. Those sites are potential for big games, lets all hope those sites will be open for us paintballers in the future and run by a competent organiser.
All these facts and accounts tells me barnett is no different to a locust. Feed, destroy, move on, feed, destroy......

Don't worry he'll say your lying.

Mops at the prison game will be fun. Hope he has a lot of slippery surface signs
