As always that's very true, but with the NPPL and team B silent on the issue except to hand out a ban to the team that complains it all looks a bit shifty. If the game was won because Nurv had sideline players interfering then say so and take action as required, but I've never heard of an NPPL or any other major series game being played again with a few minute's notice, nor of a team being offered the choice to play the game again or go home. The NPPL have said nothing of any substance about the game itself, just about the angry captain
We hear a lot of talk about paintball being taken seriously as a sport, but as long as this sort of stuff goes on then good luck with that. I doubt any major league of any other sport would replay a game because of a bad reffing call and if they did they'd have to explain the decison before handing out lifetime bans.
i dont see how any of this can look good on the NPPL and how they intend to attract new teams with tight budgets if all they have to expect is unfair decisions and replays of games. if i was in a team in the US looking to play in the NPPL i would be thinkiing twice now. bad call NPPL!

Sucks for Nurv. I wasn't there, but it sounds like they got screwed--although there is talk about a police escort, etc....I guess I'd love to know the full story.
BUT--I came here to say, for everyone that says "this sucks--they can't replay a game because a bad call was made", go think of your stance on the Joy/Dynasty game. Were you yelling that the game should have been replayed or that some change should be made to how the title was awarded? Either it's one way or the other--you use evidence to change the outcome of a game when you think something's rotten or you let the call on the field stand.

Two--if the precedent is now that every acknowledged bad call by a ref gets you a replay the events will go on for weeks. It's patently absurd.
Three--it smacks of favoritism given the participants.

Thats a fair point, but there wasn't a replay, was there? and considering there wasnt a replay for such an important game, why should there have been for Nurv vs. Naughty By Nature? Furthermore, there was a massive crowd screaming at the refs on that Joy vs. Dynasty game but they didn't call for a replay, yet when one spectator cries out, the refs have a sudden change of heart.

Exactly- if they've set their feet that the outcome of a game can't change after the fact, then that should apply to everyone. ANd what about the refs?
Where do the Ultimate leaves his refs when he comes and says: 'you pulled this guy because someone out of the field cried "hit", now we repeat the game'.
If I was that ref, I'd give the guy the finger and walk home.
