im pretty sure that the black magic is gonna be older than the sidewinder, seeing as its just fancy milling around a stock WGP reg, as toole said.
absolutely nothing wrong with a palmers rock or sidewinder, i would say if anything, the sidewinder might just need a clean out.

gurney mentioned that .. teh team mate was me and im running a nexus with BM reg still had the problem, were you using this gun at the euro indoor ? as planet suggested to me that it was probably just some crap in the inline, havent had a chance to try a new reg on it yet but will let you know if that solved it when i try, was fine until teh end of hilton park (euro inddor) so i am guessing that my problem is some crap somewhere in the inline

Bollocks! The sidewinder has an excellent recharge time, if they can keep up with the Viking it'll keep up with an eblade. Plus as a design they're hardly old....

When did you last run some oil through the sidewinder? all you need to do this is to drop half a dozen drops into the elbow and dry fire it.

If you can try a new inline reg, that will proove if the problem lies with the sidewinder or not, if so then you nee to get the sidewinder serviced.

Paul.

I had a problem with an eblade, and it turned out to need a new battery!!! Do you stick a freash one in every time you use it??

Once I started to do this....no problems.

Marker was feeding two or three balls at a time! and dropping shots.

try using a smaller bore barrel...... stay with me on this one,

'cos e-blades have such a high bolt speed it is possible for the paint to get thrown down the barrel before you fire the next shot with the blast of air.
if the paint is anything other than tight to the face of the bolt then the velocity will be way way lower,
you dont get this with open bolt guns 'cos the air blast always directly follows the bolt movement. rather than there being a pause (the delay beteen trigger pulls)

this can cause odd balls to drop short. If your getting shootdown (where each ball falls shorter than the previous) under rapid fire this would be a reg problem.

It's definitely not shoot down. I'm almost sure the sidewinder or micro rock is not to blame. I was using cheap paint, so it may well be that the size could have been the problem. Perhaps since it is cheap and inconsistant paint the smaller ones would move up and shoot lower.

When was the last time you ran some oil through the sidewinder? how old is it?

Im pretty sure thas your problem man. With inconsistant paint the odd ball will roll down the barrel abit, affecting its range. Dont worry man, get some better ammo next time :p
