We have a newbie day on the 8th of april which will be a good start.

There are loads of teams that are looking for players who train at our site the best thing to do is come down and get your self known.

You dont have to be part of a team to train at our place.

We pride ourselfs on getting new people into the sport so all is good.

Not sure which to pick, though the cocker isnt electric, is it really that much more upgradable?

unsure, like the ion is light, electric and you dont seem to need to do too much to it, however, the cocker is a cocker, theres so much that can be done to it, it seems like it would be a long term investment, although its like an all in one baby-gro, would it last me longer? or would i end up keeping it as long as i kept an ion?

unsure, since ive only ever fired a damn tippmann custom 98!

what days can you just come solo? i dont know any players, so itd be me either hoping someone has a dropout, or do you just throw some players together and run some matches?

don't buy anything just yet, i think markie hires proper tourney equipment out to people, so try everyone else bits and bobs i am sure they will let you have a shot, then make up your mind which you like best!

do any fields you know of run a league or tourneys of some sort? i really dont know what to expect, since im interested in anyhting, though 5 man, 7man and 10 man would be perfect.

all i know is that theres a MASSIVE planeteclipse shop right down the road from me, JACKPOT! think ill go there tomorrow and see if i can beg them for some advice, since they have a few teams in the area (all too good for me ofc).

DONT BUY A MECH COCKER

if you have to get an Ion, its good for the dollar
but i recommend playing for a bit, seeing how committed you are going ot be then step up immediately to a higher class marker such as an EGO or something else if that takes your fancy eg a Dye Matrix, SP shocker etc etc

come down and try out a few peoples different guns theres pretty much one of everything down most weeks (egos, dms, eblade cockers, shockers) most people will be more than willnig to let you try out there markers

I live in sale, next to urmston/altrincham! litirally 5 minutes drive from the planet eclipse shop in trafford park. im interested in any type of game really, sup'air/woodsball, tournament/rec ball, anything! its all fun though i intend to go into tournament play! meeting a group of nice people to go playing with would be great!

yeah i was considering just skipping to a good marker and system, but at that point i thought it was too risky to do, never realising i could hire kit to try it out. but since i have all the time i want to hire gear, itll be fine.

have a word with markie c about it, especailly if you need/want to borrow some equipment. now is a good time to buy, especially 2nd hand. you can get a full ego set up for around £500, bargain.

i have a ion and i like it for the time being. its a good gun and it gets the job done for me. there r some upgrades coming out for it that i have heard of if thats what your looking to do. but yea i would consider getting a higher grade marker like a dm r something like that in the long run but if u want to get a gun that will hold u over for a while get the ion
