Anyone in the north-west area of england (manchester/preston/bury) know of a place where i can find information on teams/practise fields/etc?

Im starting up paintball after 2 years of passionate anticipation of the opportunity!

im 18/male/manchester in fighting fit shape, easy-going and hard working, so anyone out there able to help me decide if its worth playing paintball from manchester, or if they have a team/league i could get details of, id love it!

just need help getting my feet on the ground, since i dont know where to start (paintball site finders SUCK at helping me and i cant find active UK forums)

im looking for any teams/fields who play/have sup'air, tourneys, league, anything!

I have quite a bit of woodsball under my belt and have been repeatedly told by the marshals that i should get in a team, BUT, the woodsball park i went to got shut down so ive lost my only lifeline.

get in touch with Markie C on these boards. He is at the Northern Quarter right beside Manchester airport and they train every week i think.

do any fields you know of run a league or tourneys of some sort? i really dont know what to expect, since im interested in anyhting, though 5 man, 7man and 10 man would be perfect.

all i know is that theres a MASSIVE planeteclipse shop right down the road from me, JACKPOT! think ill go there tomorrow and see if i can beg them for some advice, since they have a few teams in the area (all too good for me ofc).

That would be the best thing to do mate, they will help you out

But i don't know what tourneys they do there, but they have 2/3 teams

if anyone on the forum has advice on where to go to get the paintball rolling (lol, sorry, had to be done) post! so far im upto going planeteclips and badgering them, as well as showing up to a random rec-ball park and asking marshals.

Hi mate

We play at northern quarter with a five man team and would recommend it highly for training. Plenty of people there to help you out and plenty of teams train there and of all levels of skill.
