Nick!

It would be quite wise not to have a mid-season date for the change of uniform and paint colours. It should be between two seasons so that the clothes manufacturers could adapt easier... And the teams would not have to fork out for new jerseys and equipment mid season...

I bet a lot of teams have already made there jerseys, like us, dont ban blue please -)

Also, you state external equipment, do you want to ban certain colored markers aswell? Buying a new jersey or a loader because the color got banned is somehow accetable, but buying a new marker just because your marker has pink/orange/whatever in it is not.

Like - for instance saying that markers purchased after the rules have been made public cannot be in that colour.

- Very few markers are orange or pink anyhow, so it would only be an insignificant numbers of players that needed a dispensation from the rules - and that even only for a short period of time..

At the end of the day, we SHOULD get rid of the possibility of teams chosing specific colours for equipment, to hide hits !

I agree what you are saying Nick, but it´s definitely too late now to ban colours for this season, I know of lots of teams that have had their own designed jerseys printed already, so to come on now and ban their jerseys is just not fair!

On a different note, anyone know if there will be any ban on clear hoppers in the NPPL now, or has that been sorted?

i've heard that no changes will be effected this season, as it would impact teams who have already bought kit, but it is being considered for next season. Apparently this issue is very low on the list of priorities for the Millennium Series.
so i've heard anyhow...
