TBH, gaming is all about preferance, i really dont like the oldschool games, i was playing PGR HD (project gotham racing High Defination) on the PS3 last night, which was mind blowing, it really does justice to the cars featured in it, which you wouldn't get a sense of in SD and on a PS1.

HD gaming is just the next step, and im not saying it will erradicate all oldschool consoles or game's, its just a advancement of technology

As for your mate with the Astra Sxi, if he had all the collie green linguini's in the world, wouldn't he drive soemthing a little better? Like a Lambo or something? Me, I wouldn't even bother to drive, I'd just have a Hustler Powerboat, or fly.

Anyway, sage advice from Skeet. I have both LCD and Plasma at home, both display in Hi-Def 720p or 1080i, although my Pioneer Pure Vision kills the Samsung LCD.

Now if anyone else has some good advice on getting the cables up the frikkin wall (because my pre laid and plastered in trunking is too f#ing small), I'd be grateful.




Oh, nearly forgot. Wii, nice but I don't think I'll be giving up the gym and noncing ladies in lycra for exercise.

its a company car.......still not bad for a 19 year old.

And yeh, its a 360 game, i ment need for speed carbon... my bad

I cant get over this topic it has it all from wii to lesbians to HDTV :eek:

There is just so much hype over console gameing, You just dont get the game play with a console as you do with PC online gameing and yes i have played xbox online and it is crap to pc gameing.

mainly because when pc games come out

within hours you can download them, so most people try before they buy

rather than everyone rushing out to get one at the same time

also nintendo realese the wii in very short doses in order to create big queues and therefore it ends up on the news, free publicity? youd be an idiot not to take advantage of it..
