Nexus Eclipse In Toulouse !

I can't give comment first hand as I wasn't there but I can tell you what I know. Pika played out of his skin on the Nexus trials and that was why he was picked for the Nexus Eclipse squad. Since then he's had a very rocky year not performing very well at all, he has the odd good game at practise but nothing like the form we saw at the trials. By all account he ripped people to shreds this weekend in Toulouse, no fear just balls to the wall. Everyone that I have spoken to said that Pika played great all weekend (As did everyone else) and it was good to see him doing what I have known he can do from day one.

quick question to ledzy or any of the nexus guys....
After chatting with 'chu on the phone he said that after one of the games they lost he said that he was told in front of everyone that it was his fault they lost.....
i'd of thought that would put people on a downer? surely it would be better to take people aside and say to them?!?! Btw he didn't complain about it to me or anything and he's said that it's happened to others as well. is there any reason for this? i myself dont understand the point in it but im sure you guys can enlighten me

I can't comment on what happened in Toulouse, as I wasn't there, as each situation is different and provokes a different response. There are some times/situations when people need to know that it was there fault. It might be an easy mugging that wasn't done in time and then that guy shoots 4 or 5 guys out. Without knowing each situation it's hard to say. If you know me as a Captain you will have probably heard me scream and shout after a game when it's gone wrong. I've mellowed a little over the last few years but I still have a loose gasket that blows every now and again. By the sounds of it whatever someone said or did worked.... They came 5th Pro. Enough Said !

To be fair sometimes the finger has to be pointed, anyone who cant take critism wants to try some 'cruel to be kind' dave stewart approach learning lol! Pro is a level where you have a set of jobs to do that HAVE to be done.
Ive known Pika pretty much since he started playing Ledz and he does have the that inbuilt game vision and skill, he's gonna be very good, glad he showed what he can do in the big T. Thanks for the feedback, Well done to the whole squad.

Actually it was Pika who said it was his fault we lost a particular game, I assured him it wasn't everyone makes mistakes during games and sometimes you wish you had done things differently but its never one single persons fault a TEAM loses a game, a team loses and wins as a TEAM.Originally posted by Mario

And btw Pika balled crazy style at the weekend, the kiddo was wicked he's found his bad ass ballin ways again the whole squad were very impressed with him, as we all were with each other. If you were there you would have noticed how well every single member of Eclipse played, because we were all playing for each there and beleived in each other the end result = 5th pro first time out

Next step is to mug the guy on the other side of the box, he doesnt and the guy mugs Pika and Tommy out instead.
Now I told Pika that was what he should have done, I said it in a team siuation and in fact not in front of everyone at all. I also told him that he had done the job 100% superbly up until the critical point. I DID NOT SAY HE HAD COST US THE GAME.
In fact I shouted at NO ONE last weekend, I constructively critiscised Pika, Mak, Biff, JoeTV and Sammi for various things, all minor and not major - just tweaks.
Apart from that Mario I dont see how its any of your business but hopefully you are now enlightened.

mate, please don't get me wrong im not trying to stir anything up...im pika's best mate - we used to live together. i was simply asking why you do it as a *team*....and me and pika were talking about a different time as well.
