Newbie with a problem

both buttons look ok, and all lights are working as when i put it into config mode it acts normal...

is the eyes button meant to do anything when the marker is turned off anyway?, the lights stay on in config mode, just not in normal mode.

could be board setting. Thats what mine was when it was doing this.

settings are all gd, same as when i got it and correct according to the manual


also any chance it could be the membrane? as well the eyes make the blue boot menu come up and then the red coems on then it turns off, and in the manual it says if the marker doesnt turn on and cycles through the boot up sequence it means the membrane needs chaning.

i know its not cycling through the boot sequence but it does it once and turns off.

(also not battery as i have bought 3 new and none make a difference)
