hi, i got a PM from a forum user and said that it sounds like i have the hyper tightened all the way up, so i undone it a bit, but when its not completely tightened i get air coming out the back of the bolt assembly...

does that mean the seals on the bolt are no good?

also where on earth do you buy o-rings :p? on the usual paintball sites i look on i cant find them, and its only on the USA sites that i can find o-ring sets?

ive lubed it and replaced the o-rings that susposedly make air leak from the rear of the bolt assembly, but when i loosen the hpr i still get air coming out from the back of the bolt.

its truly weird as it was working 2 days ago, and the condition of everything is the same.

replaced the battery but now it wont turn on, however when i press the eye on/off if flashes once blue, then once red, then the lights go off altogether

and the on/off switch doesnt seem to turn it on/off at all.

anyone know that this could be?

I'm not really a wiz about DM's but by the sound of it.
It needs a new board. Because you've changed EVERY O-ring right?
Re lubed it ?
Disassembled it and reassembled it.

So what more could it want.

But atleast you know that new battary works with the flashing lights,
Maybe try borrowing a On/Off from a friend to try it out ?

And if i was you i wouldn't give up on this marker.

Regards Danny

wind the brass component all the way out (anticlockwise i believe) then wind in "2 full turns" This should set your velocity just right. ot close enough to what it should be, make sure bolt is lubed and put another FRESH battery, always try a couple of batteries as some might be dead. If air is still leaking cycle it a couple of times and see if it stops other than that it might be the dwell or something more complicated lol.

MJ, i have to say you are some kind of genius.. done exactely what you said and now no leak :)

although i have one more problem to kill, and i know it can be ficed without taking it to the shop :)

the button to turn the marker on isnt working, yet when i press the eyes it blinks once blue then once red...

my friend was messing around with it trying to fix it, and it just started working, then in the process of trying to sort out the air leak it decided to stop working again (and my friend has no idea what he done)...

do you tihnk it could be a loose connection? as wel the configuration mode works fine all lights up etc etc, its just when its in normal mode it doesnt want to startup and keep the red light on.

If you turn your gun on (if you can) and the light goes off, place yout finger in the breach (where paintballs go :p) and pull the trigger, you should hear a click or see a green light flash up. If this is the case then its just the light thats broke if it is not, i should imagine a loose connection. Does your gun stay on if you turn it on? It migh be a loose battery connection. The wires are fragile and if moved too much may break creating this problem.

Oh thanks about the genius quote lol. I aim to please :):D ;)

edit re read your post, probably just the button, open the grips up and inspect both buttons, see what the difference is and you should be able to figure out the solution. Im guessing a mising part lol
