New to the world of Angels

You can hook up your egg on intelifeed to an IR3 Speed or A4. Most of the A4s and speeds dont come with intelifeed rails as standard so you have to buy one.

Intelifeed Revis are the lightest hopper you can buy, and they feed about 8bps, some of Dynasty were using intelifeed Revis on angel LCDs with ace mods at campaign this year, so it must be worth doing.

The intelifeed egg is very fast, much faster than the curent y-board version. It costs about £2 for the parts to intelifeed an eggy.

As for intelifeeding a halo, well mines in the post so ill let you know if i get it working.

You can't fit an intelli feed to an A4, I was with Fraz at Campaign when he tryed to do Ollie's A4 and there isn't enough clearance between the top of the solenoid and the bottom of the intellifeed part (due to the sliding nature of the sight rail assembly). Yes Ollie did go out with an intellifeed on his A4 in the end but the gun fitting was not secured.

Not trying to knock you just don't want peeps drilling holes in their A4's and it not working. Please just correct me if I am wrong because I am a lot :D

Thx Kitch

I assumed the A4 was the same setup as the speed.

I had a problem with clearence on my IR3, i milled a recess in the underside of the sight rail, and fitted a different connector in there. That fixed my problem with clearence above the rail due to me having a low rise feed.

Basicly if u arent comfortable tinkering with your gun get someone else to do it.

wires

Ok Some one from here sent me a link to the Angel owners forum (thanks John[SAD]), any way if i read it right the best (easyest) thing to do is get a revi or any thing with a motor on it and wire the connectors straight to the motor. IS that Right? if so does it make a difference if it's a revi, Evo II or ricko

In your first post you said you had an angel speed.
In that case you cant power any hopper because your gun can only supply 4.8volts.

With older angels you can power a revolution from the gun because it outputs 6V.

What you need to do is power the hopper from the batteries but use the intelifeed as the signal to turn the motor on.

You can use a relay to acheive this.

Its very simple to do this with basic electronics knowledge.

If you arent a natural tinkerer you can get the same results out of the box from a Halo or if you are prepared to wait, the new super Egg.

Instead of a 12vdc+ reg, use an adjustable, throw int he neccessary resisitors and change until you can get the highest before it starts pushing past the detents.
