2003 Shocker
I got a new 2003 Shocker a few weeks back and it has had one outing down at the Camelot walkon, so far.
The marker seems very fast and the trigger is very light (some magnetic kind of thing), when used with a smart parts drop forward a 1.5L tank is well balanced.
The ultimate package currently cost just under £1,000 inc VAT and includes the 4,500 psi MaxFlow and tank, but the Vision Eye is not available until later this month and they are only available in blue, but more colours should be in soon.
The only down side I have found so far is that it is a bit of a gas hog (1,000 shots from a 1.1L tank I believe), but it is a Shocker so that was to be expected, on the plus side maintenance seem to be quite straight forward, with just two o-rings to change.
It has lots of adjustments for the trigger, but I have not played with these settings as it is sweet out of the box.
You will probably want a few upgrades especially the feed port, I changed mine for a twister feed port which works well with my Egg2. A freak barrel is also a good upgrade over the included All-American.
Oh and the front grip is currently a bit different from the one shown on the website and the barrel has a matching blue front with a black back.
There should be a new (smaller?) Max-Flow out soon for the Shocker which will allow you to replace the front grip. But the current package includes the standard bottle mounted Max-Flow.
All in all I really like my 2003 Shocker and would be happy to recommend it to other 'ballers, but it is early days yet and there may be teething troubles to come.
