hmm i woulda thought there woulda been more problems when using co2 with the hot weather and watnot. there are risks with both but co2 bottles in the heat arnt good. working at my local site sunday we had about 10 guns go down in a big venting way with 3 blowing their burst discs and 1 blowing its expansion chamber/front grip clean off of its thread :X luckily i wasnt holding it at the time :D the site manager was muhahaha !
Bloody hell, sounds proper ropey! Are you not able to keep your bottles out of direct sunlight between games?

I think it's more to do with insurance purposes and the fact that for a site to use/have air they might need to have a 'qualified air tech' whatever that means, not to mention that your typical co2 bottle is about 800-1200 psi and air is at least 3000 psi.

comes down to cost in the end.

C02, not good with any current electronic marker, Ions included.

Chech out the sticky at the top of the techroom thread as it has lots of useful Ion info, but at least you read the manual first :D
Yeah i've been reading through the manual and picked up as much info from the net as i could before buying as i'm totally new to markers. I'll check the sticky, cheers.
