ABERDEEN Brrrrrrr.....
Hey everyone -

Just a quick note to let everyone know that we will be opening a new indoor Sup-air and Reball field in Aberdeen in about 8 - 10 weeks pending equipment arrival.

This has come about due to the fact that it is extremely difficult to plan a good day out paintballing in Aberdeen -thanks to the weather - So, with the help of Whitey and Kitty, we are doing this for the good of the Aberdeen and Scottish players.

At this stage we hope to run a minimum 3, Field backed teams from this site and let the players have mass input to how things are run from the start.

We will also give 24/7 access for teams to practice, and will run team rotational training nights.

What we need in return is to get some numbers of how many individuals and teams would be interested. This is going to have an impact on the size of Building/ Field we put together.

We would also be greatful for support/ help in setting up the field when the time comes, and could do a BBQ, drinks and an open day in return.

Any teams/ players interested in this - feel free to get in touch, and I will keep you informed of progress. Like I said earlier, we are looking to run 3 teams minimum from our site, so if your free let me know !

Any other input would be appreciated also....

Cheers,

Tim

Tim has run fields in the past and we are working like mad to balance figures etc it looks to be good lol somewhere warm to play *woop*
I will be moving up to aberdeen end of may to help get it set up and we would appriciate as much hands on help with lifting and lugging in order to get this up and running as soon as possible so sign up below my beautiful baller gimps!!
Tim really wants this to benefit all the local players and use the field to help promote the sport. We have some great players up here with new teams like NV making an ever-growing impact on the local scene and hopefully this new site shall bring out some new keen players to expand an already growing paintball comunity in scotland and the surrounding area.

Don't get me wrong, I really wish you all the best with this. I've looked into indoor facilities here in the sunny south and its the rates that cripple. Hiring a sports hall or similar is the only real way round it. Hopefully Aberdeen gets enough out of the North Sea that the local money grabbers don't need to try and take you to the cleaners.

ABERDEEN Brrrrrrr.....
We have spent LOTS of time going through all of the figures for this, and I for one am quite prepared to take a loss for up to six months while things are progressing.

Be assured that this is not a money making venture, anything made over and above the running costs will go directly back to the supported teams, lowering their costs to play.

Again though, to make this the best we can, we need to get an idea of how many people will use the facility, and how often. So let me know !

I will also be looking to run this as a club, so will be needing a treasurer, secretary etc etc.

Heres a few ideas and suggestions
1. has this place got a name? or website?
2. also maybe you should look into a paintball shop to sponsor you so you can sell gear on site?
3. how can anyone find out the location? (Direct address)

hopefully that helps ;)
