OOps sorry mate

Does this mean that Nexus Eclipse are playing pro next season?

We play against tigers and tigers kidz say every 2 or 3 weeks and train against ecstacy/backlash every weekend

I know nexus often train against other teams as do shockwave so the teams mentioned to 'bash heads' as you put it quite often

As for John's post -

Novice in the UK is no where near what novice stands for in the states. Look at Diesel or wicked. They are classed as novice in the states yet they beat Dynasty at the last NPPL.

You have to thing of yourself as a potential sponsor. Would you put money/products into a team that will get no media coverage, win no tournies, or be well known amongst the paintball world as such?

The reason 'Pro' teams and top AM's get the help they do is simply because in return the sponsors get more back from the teams. In terms of media coverage etc etc

Now i am not saying that a novice team would never win anything, obviously we have novice champions (as you metioned, zone, few good men etc ect). But its just more worth while for sponsors to back 'bigger' teams as such.

Yes, as will Tris:)

Want to wish the team the best of luck, hope that the other couple of guys on the team are as good as the 7 they already have. I spoke to Al earlier, and he sounded really excited about the team, looks like they will do well.:)

Look out for the Atmosphere Factory Team:)

Tris,

Do you really want to air this dirty laundry in public?:D

I have had loads of fantastic offers, but that was to be expected as back players of my calibre don't come onto the market very often, thank god. So demand has been high.

Mark :p

Leaving K2 was the hardest thing on the planet I've ever done.

We started the team as a bunch of friends and to break away from that, after all the hard work we've done over the last 4 years to get to where we are has been painful but you never know what opportunities may turn into if you pass them up.

The HUGEST respect goes out to all the K2 massive for the great performance we did this year, we surpassed the goals we set for ourselves and did it in style. Large thanks for their understanding and for not bearing grudges, special nod to Gilly and JJ for being supportive, friends to the end.

Gonna be good on Saturday night to pick up our gold and our glory, then get **** all night off the boys for leaving :D

as for the new team, watch out y'all, we got plans. This team is gonna be awesome.

Name coming soon. Promise.

Baker....shut it and get in the corner where you belong. ;)

States Novice = Europe AM B
Look at hypnotise, or Just Red to get an idea of the Euro equivilant to Wicked or Diesel,

Good luck chumps

Said what i need to say to you to the other night ,but good luck

On the other topic of novice teams ,the novice /amb teams in the states that attend nppl are 10 times better than our novice /amb teams thats just fact ,thats why we need to get the standard up and change everyones perception of the game as well as training in the correct way not just turning every 4th sunday in a month to play for a couple of hrs and think we will be world beaters ,

ANyway good luck to al & chris i know how hard it is ;)
