There's some serious talent on show and some of the guys Tris is talking to are equally exciting. We're unsure whether the team will be playing Am A or Pro next season, but with Nexus and Tigers having strong seasons, Shockwave showing signs of a resurgence and Method looking like serious contenders in Am A, the future is brighter for Brit 'ball than it has been for many a year.
Is it just me or does it seem like a strange idea to have 'another' superteam? Presumably, the 5 squads above will all be training in their own ways in their own back yards, with their own view on where they're going... Any chance of them all teaming up once a month and bashing the hell out of each other? You know, really trying to get Brit 'ball to the top?

Are you sure?

well i spose this comment/opinion is part of this thread and the 'sponsorship post. controversial?' thread:

right, so now we have like 5 excellent brit teams really getting some results with much higher hopes next year, but they all play Pro/Am A, so what i dont get, why doesnt someone (sponsors, rich people etc) sponsor some novice teams/Am B teams so they can afford to play the NPPL/PSP/ all millenium series events, like team zone for instance, they have only been around for a year, but they smashed through virtually every team at the m25 and came first in novice at their first ever millenium event which surely means good things, why not see if these guys would show the americans how birt novice works:cool:

if im talking crap, just tell me, i usually am....... :)

You were doing alright until this bit. I am kinda lost as to what birt ball is? Is this the new premier format that is going to be introduced into the Millennium Series next year?:)

Sorry LJ, just having a laugh.

Hey Jon

I guess most sponcership is aimed at Pro and Am A teams because this is who gets the most exposure and exposure is what the companies sponcering the teams want at the end of the day.

99% of the people you see on Pro teams now have had to pay as much as you guys are paying now in order to get where they are today. I've played novice, Am B and now Pro so I've certainly paid my fair share of cash.

With respect to Zones results at CC, well done, excellent stuff, good luck in Am B next season.

Stan

Strange, hell no, it's a shame there's not 10 "super" teams and I'm damn sure this is going to be a hell of a year for Brit Paintball.

Sucks for the guys left on K2.

Just my opinion guys

ok, hows about this, Robbo has most certainly suceeded in making a model team (nexus:rolleyes: ) and im sure plans to make his latest one into AmA and Pro guys to, so why cant someone make a model.....novice team:)

i guess the only problem with this is, if they're so good, then they get moved up, so i guess its just a vicious circle then:(
