Just been watching the news and the Uk armed forces spokesman said that the war was proceeding with "flawless military planning, and historians for years to come will regard the military tactics with respect"..............

Flawless.......  How many blue on blue kills?? Friendly fire.....  Civilian Deaths....

If that is the meaning of 'flawless' then i would hate to witness a campaign riddled with average planning and poor tactics.....

Oh I don't know...

... when Bad Taste told us they would kick our asses that was qutie rediculous! LOL

All I can say is that if it is an army spokesperson then they are bound to say that aren't they! How often do people really admitt how badly things are going.
Well the 'coalition forces' appear to be winning so maybe we can just hope that it won't last to much longer! (not too bloody likely!)

No, i didnt say that at all...all i said that it was a UK army spokesman talking about the war plan and tactics....never said that the Uk was doing any friendly fire killing. You want to read my post again my friend.

Well the 'planning' was pretty 'flawless', its the carrying out of plans that hasn't always been great. And, no its not just the Americans who've fired on friendly targets, we did destroy one of our own Challenger 2s outside Basra.

We just toppled a country in 3 weeks with minimal coalition and civilain casualties and all with a relatively small ground force compared to other wars throughout history..What more do you want??

But I do agree, flawless it wasnt but the US and Brits ability to alter the plan when needed was brilliant...

Just mosey on down to your local library and get a book on the fall of France in 1940..Mix that in with a brilliant Nazi war plan and you have the fall of France in a matter of weeks..The French and Brits were still using WW1 tactics while the German panzer divisions were steam rolling towards the English Channel:eek: ;)

What more do i want......hmm......how about less friendly fire accidents......less meaningless death.......etc...

You say that 'you' just toppled a country in 3 weeks, but there was little resistence, and you had far superior weapons and numbers. What you have just said reinforces my fears that the USA led by Bush went into Iraq merely to 'topple' the nation.
