I'll be honest and give you the info you need to the best of my knowledge.
Ion- (I own one) Honestly it's a cheaper knock off of the Shocker. It's a nice marker just add a freak barrel, a clamping feedneck and it great out of the box too. 17 BPS gets the job done no matter what anyone says.
Shocker- Basicly the whole basis of the Ion with out the cut corners.
Nerve- from what I have been told they are very nice guns as long as you get the vision kit. Basicly thats the only real draw back of a nerve out of the box. But I don't know for sure since I've never shot one. I heard they were kinda heavy too.
But it's that time of year right now where all the companies are switching over to this years products which means last years products are dropping in price. Like I just saw a Timmy $1350 US on sale for $550 US. (conversion I guess is about 450 down to 200 or some where around that). So I'd say hit the web sites and start looking for a good deal. There are lots of sites so take your time.
But honestly your best bet if you don't know is to get to a paintball store and handle the guns a bit. Trust me the way a gun feels in your hand makes more difference then price, looks, rate of fire, and kinda accuracy too. Because if it doesn't feel right to you then you are gonna lose a couple BPS and your accuracy will tend to be off a little bit. Hope that helps ya.
Now as for the white Dye Goggles I heard recently that they were going to make some but not to many. So they may be really hard to get your hands on even if they do. Of coarse that is just a rumor because I don't remember where I heard it.
Personally I just bought a Dye IN3 and it's a nice mask but it's allready been retired for my Avatar. I messed up the lens and the foam padding fighting with removing and replacing the lens. The Avatar is so much easier to clean and the lens removale is worth the purchase all by it's self. Plus I think it's more comfortable but don't get me wrong I wouldn't have bought the Invision if it wasn't a nice mask.
