ahh, I see, probably got confused because it was sooooooo long ago.... is it still cutting edge then? or is it already two years old? Hell, the original "nerve" catalogue model probably has kids of her own now :)

basically a $1400 Impulse, with a Shocker frame.
A cheating board.
A cheapo refective eye - Not even a breakbeam system!!!

No wonder they call it the Nerve, they have a Nerve charging that kind of money for it. (boom-boom!)

You could ponder if its a good gun, but to gain context you should be asking if it is a good gun for $1400 (more expensive than the Fly!!!!)

....I think not

ps. The video was poo, but it was better than the SP infomercial (although not as comical)

pps - Dr Strangelove - you rock!

A reflective eye that you can't even adjust.... With the EBlade eye at least u can manually adjust the sensitivity if you have any problems.

SP wants the nerve to be on the same level as the DM4 as a no frills cheaty gun....but at least the DM4 looks cool, uses cocker threaded barrels and has a decvent break-beam eye.

You guys aren't figuring the air system into the price. It's $1400 with a Max Flow included, not a bad price really.

I'm not a big fan of the goofy ramping board, and would have much preffered to see it have normal de-bounce or trigger sensitivity settings.

The guy in the video (Anthony) is a good guy, and he's a good tech, he just ain't the best public speaker in the world, cut him a bit of slack, he fixes stuff for a living, he doesn't give sermons.

point noted, yeh guys come on its not the techs fault that he works for a company that is destroying paintball...with regards to the air tho again point noted but for the cash methinks you could get much better bits of kit ?

p.s. I used to work for microsoft (for quite a while, until I hit the f**k you number) - and nowhere in my years there did I come across people who insisted on sticking a 45kb bitmap in their each and every email. in fact it was considered very bad manners indeed to constantly remind people who you were on first name terms with what your phone number and email address was - never mind some dumb logo of some sort.

anyways - genericising is a pretty lame Jerry Springer-type approach. never mind the european slants - let me focus on you trying to appear smart by slagging off a company - especially since you are using their software to write your snotty reply, to cut your snazzy graphic, to read your interesting email. so as you raise your (connected to a windows PC keyboard) begin to flame me - consider that all I am doing is raising points, whereas you are offending Belgian, German, French people, as well as those from a particular company - why not become a football hooligan, at least you will get a weekly game??

i bet you own smart parts duvet covers...because they came with your bed. but it's cool to slag them off isn't it...
