its the new board, and the eye is clean. i tried various paint but no all-black or two-coloured balls.

well i believe the new board cant be ajusted like the old board, and you say that it fires every trigger pull in non vision?? hmmm i dunno, try another loader then send ur board off to sumone who can fix it or get it replaced
come on bob imps are good man, my imp rocked with that i frame. I have to agree though blades do rock
it is the dwell that adjusts your ROF
the buttons on the side of your cricket board adjust the dwell can't remember exactly which way round they go but they adjust the amount of gas that is pushed through the guin per shot ultimately affecting the efficiency and how fast you can fire... adjust it until the sound your gun makes is crisp and sharp rather than a wet fart! also one other thing that your problem might be is the battery...i when i first got my eclipse imp with a halo b i was breaking balls all over the place, had shoot down...turns out i had put an old battery in which affects how much the valve is opened each time... try holding your halob with a pot of paint in it and time how long it takes for it to empty....mine got about 7-8 senconds just counting out loud....let me know if it is about htis speed....another thing it might be is the ball detents...do you have the new eclipse fang detents? i had them and found that the loader is too forcefull and pushes past them you might find what is happening is the loader is pushing 2 or 3 balls and the vision is seeing the gap between them as they move when you pull the trigger....the cricket visions are slightly different to the orange green boards as in vision mode for the latter you could have a ball in the chamber and keep firing with no gas source on...it is a entirely digital sensor on and off whereas the new one requires you to read a ball fire and then read another ball...so in order to for othe gun to fire it has to go on off on off etc... this might be why your gun is buggering up if the halo is feeding too fast before you fire then it could mess up the more complex board sequence....let me know once you have done some experiments...

thank you very much, i will try around this a bit. i'll let you know how it went. if i cant get it fixed i'll be seeing some of the techs at the maxs masters. but the battery thing i can deny. i always put a whole new set of batteries in the loader as well as in the gun at the start of every day of playing.but i will try the speed of my halo. i dont think i have fang detents. but im not quite sure.the fang detents are not standard on the eclipse imp, right?

if they are chrome and the actual detents are like fangs not little plastic ball bearings you have eclipse detents.
