Dear Red,

Hi my name's James. Now we've been introduced I can understand where you're coming from as a parent.

I'll try and keep this as simple as possible, not to insult yourself but to keep things clear in my own mind.

The first point is and it has to be said; Grammar. It is written in the rules that you cannot use txt speak or slang on this forum, theres a tick box that constitutes a signature to agree. Not least of the reasons is that some of the older members don't understand it/can't suffer it and I'll be honest: SuM1 TyPin Lyk Th1S, is fairly annoying.

The second point is: Yes you're protecting your son, yes he may be 15 but we don't know that! he could be 48 your old plumber named barry who does a good woman impression. This is the internet, we don't want to see pictures of him or anyone else because most people on here are so ugly we'd all turn to stone!

The third point is his behaviour: Now I won't pretend to know all the facts but kids are very good at hiding things (I used to work in an Orange call centre during uni and trust me some of the stories parents believe, but another story for another day). If he acted the way he did at a pub, football match or in the street no doubt he will have had a black eye or indeed worse. He should take responsability upon himself, but again parents being parents.

My fourth point is this: This forum isn't a regular internet forum. It's a very tight knit and active community. Everybody actually knows everybody because we play together, drink together etc. Some of us if not most know Robbo personally. I've spoken to Robbo afew times and he has been nothing but polite. But in knowing his personallity a bit if you say one thing he doesn't like he'll come down like a ton of bricks, he, like everyone expects to be spoken to in english and in a civil manner.

I know you're actually doing what's right, protecting your son, and I have utmost respect for that and from what I've read you've already punished him.

All anybody wants here is a little closure to know that somthing has been done.

Ah 2 minutes too late..
