Dear Robbo

I have just returned from a work dinner to find my son very frustrated with the situation he found himself in today regarding yourself and the moderation of this site.

I have read through the messages you exchanged with my son and quite frankly I'm disgusted with your immature behaviour. I am presuming that you have to deal with a fair few teenagers with this being a paint balling website so I am at a loss to understand your attitude and general aggressive behaviour. I couldn't believe my eyes when my son showed me messages with you asking him to meet you?? and not to mention you calling myself and his father scum? I understand that teenagers aren't the easiest of people to deal with but surely as a moderator and being in a position of trust you should be able to deal with situations in a correct and proper manner?

My son, contrary to what you stated, was not dragged up but neither does he suffer fools and he has been brought up to respect people where respect is due and not simply because they think they can pull rank and bully people.

I would be interested in your views on this matter and will put aside your personal attacks on both myself and my husband and how my son was brought up as I don't believe in making assumptions before I have all the facts in front of me, it makes me feel saddened, however, that you don't have the same open mind.

With with me being new to this site I seemed to have posted a response to you on the forum as opposed to a private message which was my original intent, however, when I checked to see if my message had gone through I noticed your thread asking for information on my 15 yr old son? Would you care to explain your reasons behind this? As you can imagine a grown up man enquiring about my son on an internet forum leaves me feeling slightly uneasy given the fact you've already banned him?? Why would you then need further information? Whilst on the subject of banning the notice quoted "No reason specified" Could you explain what this means?

Red, I wil quite happily show you the message that your "son" sent to myself and the owner of this site which I am sure he has already shown you himself that earnt him his ban or has he kept this hidden from you ?

I also hope he showed you the post that started this.

yes my "son" (any particular reason for the speech marks?) showed me the messages and especially the first one that started all this when he was pulled for his spelling and grammer?? it was then it first became abusive and not from his side! a grown man talking to a kid like that? and about spelling and grammer? Was it really worth it in the grand scheme of things? And also Lump, I am but a normal parent but if you want to place me up there with Aesop then its all good. Also whilst talking about reading messages / posts let me remind you of the post that started all this

and that was from a grown man because a teenager had written in slang?? calling him a 4 year old and going on to state he was dragged up? I also guess it didnt help you taking the mick out of my son because he was trying to find a mask for £20?? I showed my husband all of these posts to see his response, he laughed at grown men squabbling with a teenager and name calling on a paintball forum, I see his point.
