as your general offers were through pm i felt it was ok to discuss general sale details..and the possibility of meeting price etc through pm..but i had also stated twice that as per rules u must place an agreed price on the thread..and then i would put down that its sold..i believe the way this forum operates is the offers on the thread take priority to pm offers..thats why i had asked you to post on here.apologies if you feel put out..but i wasnt aware of anything untoward?

Just to spell it out for you, as it appears you suffer from selective blindness:-

1. I offered 160 on thread, which you accepted.
2. I pm'd you suggesting that we meet in Birmingham.
3. You pm'd me to say you would come back to me about meeting.
4. You then pm'd me to say you could not meet me in Birmingham, and suggested that you would post it to me if I paid you 170.
5. You then change your mind (again by PM) and say you will meet me tomorrow in Birmingham.

In the meantime, you continue to offer the gun for sale on thread and agree to sell it to someone else.

the last post on here from you was asking if i would accept 160 if you collected..as you live a fair distance from me we discussed the prospect of possibly meeting..if it was viable..id said there was no guarantee id be in birmingham tommorrow..and we had yet to agree on a method of payment..ie paypal transfer etc..thats why i asked you to make an official offer on the thread..mods please inform if i have done anything untoward? i wasnt aware i had..

yes i agree to all those points..however i thought i had to confirm the sale on the thread rather than pm? all my comments were suggestions..and i believe the marker is up for anyone to buy until i post it as sold? if im wrong i accept responsibility but i wasnt aware of doing wrong..surely in an auction the goods go to the highest official bidder? appreciate any help from mods in this regard?

rule 10 for selling on pgi forum states...the 1st person to offer the asking price MAY
get the goods..however it remains the sellers right to decide what offer to take...so even if you had offered the full original asking price..which you didnt..its my decision who the sale goes to..for whatever reason i choose..my basis for choosing urbangreg was that he made the first full asking price offer on the thread. il refrain from sarcasm..im just stating the facts as i see them

once again..i had asked you twice to post an official offer on the thread..as for discussing theoretical strategies for the sale i didnt believe this was a problem? iv had someone make an offer for a mini b4..agreed sold..then turns out he didnt have the money. so i was discussing possible events with you..then asked you to confirm on the thread. an extra tenner is neither here nor there..i retain the right to sell my good to whomever i feel has made an offer i accept..i then confirm this and agree to sale on the thread. this just sounds like sour grapes as iv agreed to sell to someone else..which happens in life. its my right to decide who to sell to..not yours. if mods have a problem they will inform me and il accept their decision..until i confirm the sale on the thread i can sell it to whoever i want to. and all that without resorting to the lowest form of wit....

and if you read my posts properly youl see they stick to a general form..i asked for an official offer but didnt recieve one to my satisfaction..i informed you if u didnt post an offer on the thread someone else may get in before you..thats pretty much it..i just seem to have to fill up this thread explaining it to you..and once you got the general idea just resorted to sarcasm and surliness. a shame. sometimes you get what u want in life and sometimes you dont..blimey dont be so uptight about it.
