Shoot with whatever set-up you personally prefer, warps have some disadvantages as well as advantages.

Personally, i hate the things far to bulky for me and im so used to shooting left handed these days that it just feels wrong to do that funy leaning ****.

Anyway, on the subject of NPS in europe, does that mean that Timmys will not be discustingly over priced in this country any more? You see how much they are in the states, and even with VAT on top they are no where near the shocking prices they are on sale here for.

But William Shatner didn't use one on his X-mag @ ShatnerBall last year did he?

If it ain't good enough for the Alpha Male - then it ain't good enough for me:p

I personally prefer Centre, although using a Warp was fun and made it easy to stay tight with:)

Ahh now Steve, since when has the equipment that Pro (and to a lesser extent) Am players use been determined by how good it is?

Did Dynasty decide to use Shockers because of their technical superiority......or because the Gardeners waved a massive wad of cash at them?

Most paintballers would run onto the field holding a huge steaming turd if they got paid enough to do it (see reference to Dynasty above) ;)

On the topic of warps popularity, I reckon that if AGD had introduced it in the mid-90s when they produced the no.1 tournament marker, today we'd see a far greater percentage of players using them.

On a slightly related topic ...... "PROGEAR" in the mag. What a complete waste of ink. I can save you some time and write next month's for you:

A.N.Other Pro-Paintballer
-------------------------------
Mask: the one I'm sponsored to wear
Marker: the one I'm sponsored to shoot
...etc

By all means ask them about their favourite food/drink/film/book - but the stuff about the equipment they use is utterly meaningless, cos we already know what they're going to say from looking at the patches on their jersey.

As I said above - the fact that pros use a specific item of equipment is absolutely no indication of its quality.

In fact, the only people worth asking about equipment are the sad talentless gimps who desperately buy every different make of marker/hopper/mask/clothing in a constant attempt to compensate for their lack of balling skills. Those are the people you should be interviewing for 'DebtRiddenLoser-Gear'.....but I'm a bit busy at the mo' so find someone else to ask. ;)

Warp maybe a faster loader, but it will only feed the balls into your marker as fast as your hopper will ;)

Also, if you have made yourself accustomed to either using the warp or centre feed for a long period of time, changing from one to another you will feel the difference, and will notice it if you get shot alot.

ah Gadget.
center feed is the way to go. Appart from STorm who are sponsored to run around with a 'huge steaming turd' strapped to the side of their guns, how many pro and Am players use them? Seriously, i cant think of even one. (Appart from STORM who are sponsored to use them)

But perhaps that's why you play for the Redskins, and Mark plays (played) for Nexus ;)

Reduiced Profile? not out the other side of your bunker it dosn't! Fast feeding,? just stick the halo on the top of the gun!

And what's all this about a Halo being so complicated to clean out? If children can build them in a factory in china, then surely paintballers with your 'superior intelect' can figure out how to take a halo appart!

I agree totally but my point was that the basic configuration of ALL markers used by ALL top ballers out there is identical.

NOT similar, not almost the same but IDENTICAL and none of them carry the innards of a washing machine out onto the field with them.

Ahh now Steve, since when has the equipment that Pro (and to a lesser extent) Am players use been determined by how good it is
I'm not saying that the Warp Feed isnt good quality. The Goggle Flauge (remember that ****e anyone) was good quality but you'd have to be a fool to use it (apologies to the AA's at this point - please refer to the quote above)

I'm just saying that it is just 'wrong'!!

On the topic of warps popularity, I reckon that if AGD had introduced it in the mid-90s when they produced the no.1 tournament marker, today we'd see a far greater percentage of players using them.
Wrong again - it's intrinsically against basic good paintballing knowledge and skills. Shoot left handed - dont lean out shooting 'righty lefty' (therefore inhibiting your loaders ability to load properly). We all looked carefully at the Warp when it came out and we all rejected it as a clever gimic that doesnt even look good (if it did it might have had a little time in the sun - we're all vain).

As for feeding consistently and fast - granted yes - for the first few balls and then you are at the mercy of the loader that you stick on the side (having had to melt it to fit correctly). Thats a fact so the speed thing isnt even an argument.

Phew - I've wanted to get that off my chest ever since the magi mixer, sorry Warp(ed) Feed came out

I can rest in peace

Mark

This is all just my opinion and not those of my team mates all of which are likely to start using the Warp Feed just to spite me.

Do Shock and Tigers fancy a Warp Feed sponsorship ;)
