South Yeah!

One of my mates booked in on the South team, cos he is a Southerner, but when he turned up was on the North team. How dat work?

And the North had 80 more players... holy bunker balls!! No wonder it felt like pushing string uphill all day. I think we did well under the circumstances.

Although whether people agree with the maths or not, if you got 80 more players, you got 80 more players... that has got to make a difference in anyones book! Would have been nice to have even teams then we could have really seen who won the game. If you need an extra 80 players to win, then that says it all to me.

Next Year maybe we should organise a game of football on the Saturday, North vs South, but we can have an extra player. Lets see how fair Northerners think that would be.

Well I hleped with the player registrations the last couple of years so have a fair idea of how the numbers balanced on the day. And guess what? This year was probably the most even with up to 3 northern players per 2southerners in previous years!

Of course the fact that anywhere north of the Watford Gap seems to be classed as "North" by most players doesn't help - whats this with everyone in the MIDlands declaring themselves to be NORTHern?
