at the big games, with many spectators lining the railing, we will go back to the old situation with coaching sabotage and people getting close to fistfights to move people so they can coach effectively..... Which was exactly why the MS moved the coach inside the rail..... how quickly they forget

The Millennium clearly think it's harder work to police the pits than the spectators, so they're solving the problem by leaving the pit-side as a free-for-all. As for spectators fighting... they presumably feel that anything happening off the field is not their responsability.

err didn't the fight in Basildon start in the stands?

I too like the idea of not releasing the field plans and have suggested releasing a number of plans in the past. That way the cash rich can train on all of them if they like or even better play local events to hone their all round field craft. I especially like the idea of an independent draw and lets face it there are enough of us tradespeople present during the set up time to do a web cast draw.

For training sights the ones with the biggest number of fields will be able to stage multiple layouts to allow people to train. Hell, it may even mean more field sales for the MS as the smaller training venues may need to expand and buy more to compete with the bigger ones. Of course that has one possible flip side too.

I don't think it's been clarified that spectator side coaching is removed, just the "spotter"!

As for policing the pits, that is far more likely to lead to confrontation for the Millennium staff, far easier to get the refs to eliminate players and pull penalties when somebodies mum accidentaly blurts out something.

Spike, which fight, there has been more than one at Basildon (at the Millennium events, I presume you mean). I think the one you may be alluding to was on the spectator side, however, the same characters were also involved in a pit-side scuffle that event too.
