I'm sure you are right, its not like each event was flooded with American teams anyway (apart from CC and Toulouse of course)

Its a great holiday for them isnt it!!

It would be great to play ball like that - but only they can afford it!!

If....

.... there is no collaboration between the MS and either of the two big US leagues, I think we'll se many US teams come across to the MS anyway.

Only playing 5 US events in a year is nothing for the big NPPL teams that don't want to do Division 1 X-Ball in the PSP - so they are going to attend some MS events to top off their season.

It will be interesting to see however, if the 5 Euro teams in the NPPL have the budget for both the NPPL and trying to secure qualification for the MS Champions League.

And with the increase in the number of relagations from the NPPL Pro div looking to further reduce their chances, they might need to keep a shot at top level ball open back home.

Although i reckon semi pro nppl would be a higher level of play than euro pro.

I think you are wrong there.

I think you will see a good number of NPPL Pro teams mix it up at MS events, making it the second toughest 7-man division in the world.

Time will tell

Come on Nick - that sounds suspiciously like you're going to wander back down the 'Euro Ams are as good as US Ams' road again...just because the old man has disappeared doesn't mean no-one's going to pick you up when you start talking bollocks again...:p ;)

Nick, the overall level that will be represented in the NPPL semi-Pro will be higher than the pared down MS Pro bracket.

There are some teams in Europe that could hold their own in the NPPL semi Pro but not many. The teams that played Am in the NPPL over the last 2 seasons are seriously good, well lead and financially backed.

None of us are disagreeing there Nick, of course by how much it is the second toughest division in the world is the question.

Of course what competition has it got? D7's? Australian 7 man series?

Making the NPPL and MS a bit of a two horse race really!!

I'm disagreeing - it will be 3rd toughest:

1. NPPL Pro
2. NPPL Semi-Pro
3. Mill Series
