So out of interest, how are we as non-cpl teams supposed to promote our sponsors on the field and at possible photo opperchancities for mags etc if we don't have the whole screen printed/custom tops thing going on?

Ah ok...no he's saying his teams tops aren't custom...therefore, with the sticker band (or restriction) how are the properly meant to represt their sponsors

You're allowed custom tops, or anything on the tops but color orange.

You're not allowed to wear a modified mask. For reasons that are beyond my comprehension abilities, a sticker is considered a mask modification and thus is not allowed, same for pins etc. Cutdown masks are a no-no but they pass the test more often than stickers. Folded masks will bemost likely have to be unfolded before entering the field.

I don't remember anything about chinstraps and some guys in my team have played with them unfastened, can't be sure if that is a policy enforced on every field by every reffing squad. If you take them off and leave no clue they were there I doubt you'll have any problem at all.

Hope this helps :)

One reason for the stickers being banned on goggles was cos apparently it was said u could pull them off when you got hit

Like to see someone trying tht one...it would be quicker to wipe:rolleyes:

I'll be honest mate, I don't do chin straps, another bollox idea by the PC of the world. Okay so far we are not allowed stickers or mod masks, so, let me get this right. If you have a mask, you have taken out the box and stuck on your head then all is good, if like me you have built a mask from scratch with frames, lens, faceplate(chin straps removed), tournament legal earpieces and a custom strap, does that then make them modified??? Hmmm......is there a guy out there who's job it is is to ruin the bling aspect of paintball??

I believe a "modified" mask is one that has had parts removed e.g. chin straps, ear pieces or "lower face guard". The chin guard is the strangest, if the mask comes with a fitted chin strap then it cannot removed in any way but doesn't have to be fastened.

It's better than that! The first explanation they gave was "Stickers make paintballs bounce". :D

In theory it is. In practice, as long as it is simmilar enough to a "known" mask you'll have no problems.
