With regards to Ulrich being the only one talking to teams, I know for a fact that other board members were calling teams as well, yes Ulrich did face to face for the most part but other people where not just out getting drunk
As for the way you are being treated............. You have passion you feel robbed you trained hard for it, you want someone to be nice and treat you like a customer, I get that, I agree with you. But (and there often is) sometimes in life that just does not happen.
First big event I ever attended was Mayhem, all it did was rain all weekend, my car got stuck in the mud, I spent a small fortune on hotel food and drink, not to mention the 95 pounds per case of paint, as it was site paint only, and did I loved every second of it, infact I still look back and think that was one of the best events I have ever played, why because there was noting anyone could do about the weather so we just had fun and bonded as a team.
Now I could have gone over to the organizers and said your event sucks, look at the mud my car is stuck, this is wrong with the event etc, but what was the point? would it actually have changed anything at that event? Nope because we were all in the same boat, a bit like now.
Like Mario has said when the players union was set up (by 3 different parties) the players did really not want to know. So how can we expect the Millennium to listen to 1,000's of complaints and take note of everyone?
It is almost an impossible situation to get 100% right.
So seeing as I have been sarcastic and you all think I am the bad guy....... Here is an idea for you....... Why not send some PM's around to teams that you know did not play and where there and are unhappy about it. Ask them to list all their issues then one person get all that info together and write a constructive email to the Millennium Board listing out all the issues. You may find this does the job, if however it does not I know some people and we can have some knee caps smashed (yes I am joking)
