What will happen at Campaign where there will be a lot of teams who haven't played a previous Millenium event and so won't have these cards?

Nick, Very quick answer...Why did Consilium Dei win Campaign Cup Last year? Buying in the top players won them the ist place not talent.

So restrict them to PRO, will this will limit the effect? yes and no. Example. Dynasty have pretty much got the series in the bag, so (for point of argument only) the Mayhem Tigers decided to transfer Dynasty players onto their Rosta completely changing the natural outcome....Same players same result BUT different team.

If we free up the movement of Ams in (Am and Pro leagues) it will allow growth and not have any negative effect.

Isn't the problem really better players playing for teams "below" their ability such as the whole Consellium business.

While I appreciate your Dynasty reference Niall, although I don't know if that is actually practical to prevent - indeed as long as Dynasty had not used any transfers yet in the year they could still "appear" as any other team, even a Novice one under the current rules.

It sure is a joke that the passes haven't been sent out yet, I mean for all the cash they are making on these cards, you would expect them to pay someone a couple of quid to make sure everybody gets them at the event, like at the Max Masters, or at least within a couple of days after the event.
Same goes for the scores after, and the team lists before the events.

If they make it a rule for the players to wear the passes, they could check that only players get into the players zone, and hopefully the level of thieving will go down, it would be nice to play a Millennium event without having to hump all your valuables around with you on the field.....

Niall...

so how do the teams and players who have not attended an event before Campaign get a card? If they get them at Campaign will they be a quick process as some people from Amsterdam are still waiting for theirs.

Charlie,

You can get your cards at the check in booth at the start of the tournament.

Orange .

.I know exactlywhere you are coming from and to be honest I feel embarrassed about the situation, even though its not part of my doing.
I will chase up Jean Manuel today.

Regards

Niall

Niall - is there no way teams could get their cards before the event... I believe that the photos are taken on a digital camera and then i assume that they are printed onto the cards (?)

Could you set up another system whereby teams could email you the pics and all relevant details asap so that it cuts down on your work on the day and gives teams more time to walk the fields, fix their paint chuckers or go the pub?!

Just my £5's worth.

ps Having never played at a Millenium event i am more than willing to be told to piss off as i don't know what i'm talking about!!!:D

So are the cards we get at the begining of the tourney gonna be like the cards we had last year or will they have our photos on and you will get them all printed on the day? As Stan says it could be easier if we sent you pics of ourselves via email.
