Is it me or is the idea of these cards just a waste of time other than fleeceing players of 20 euros. They just dont serve any purpose so far. The current idea of them is just impossible to police, Perhaps if players were ask to wear them as they go on to the fields they could be check against their cards thus stopping any chance of teams throwing in ringers to the games. Thats of course if we ever get them back of course.

They charged me frikkin 30 Euros.....the *******s !!!
But I do hear on the grapevine that maybe a check will be done before each game by the judges and then the cards are collected at the end of each game ready for the next.
It will add to the cycle time of each game and therefore to the schedule overall, so we'll what happens!

30 euros??!!!!,i paid 20 at Amsterdam & i thought i was being fleeced/conned,unlucky Robbo (sorry to rub it in but uve got a few quid to ya name & being famous so u got a special discount ;) )
I still havnt got my card & i get the feeling that i'll be wait 4 a very long time!!!! if i get it at all??? .
I dont think id want to hand my card to any 1 just in case it gets lost or given out to the wrong person,i can see the that this idea will knock the time schedule way back & if it was as bad as wot we had at Amsterdam (without the cards)games will run a day late!.
I think these cards will have little use/point.
Also if u lose your card or forget to bring it with u they'll proper fleece ya ass so lets guess & say that u'll get fined/conned...Opps i mean given a replacement card, they'll charge u for it say 20+euros at least....F*** OFF is wot i will say but hey Robbo ud have to pay 40+euros! SWEET! ;) :D .

Hi all. I will be the first to admit the administration in relation to the player cards has been very poor.

This is something that I am seriously pissed off about at the moment. In Toulouse we shall adopt another method of policing them and hopefully you will all be happier, and see why we have them in the first place.

It has also become apparent that we need to tighten up on the pro transfers whilst relaxing on the Ams and this will happen. The movement of Ams will allow the sport to grow and teams to develop.

It is my intention that the Millennium Series will give you the best paintball in the world. We certainly don't want to fleece the players. The crown may have wobbled a bit lately, but no ones gonna take from us.

Good topic of discussion...

... one that Morten Jensen from Race Gun & I have talked about. He came up with very smart sounding idea.

All i.d. cards should have a bar-code on them - this bar-code would then be used to register everyone when they show up at a tournament. Then during the tournament an official could - by using a palm pilot connected to a bar-code scanner - go around the fields making spot checks. Thus making sure that the correct players where with the correct teams in the correct divisions.

What do people think?? Niall??
