Last I heard about the Joy Masters was that it definitely won't be in January. I was told it has been moved to mid-Feb. So don't panic!
You didnt read the first page then?;)

I doubt whether the Millennium Board will spring an event on us in january. They are a bunch of guys who know what they are doing, contrary to what some people believe.:)

All the dates will be posted on the Millennium Web site this week. We still have to confirm a couple of dates, but this will be any time now.

There is no event in January. If Magued gets the go ahead the first event will be in February.

Keep your eyes on www.millennium-series.com

The Millennium Series 2004 Player Information

Dates for Major Millennium Events
Joy Masters: still to be confirmed
Maxs Masters: May 9 until 11
DMA: June 4 until 6
7 Man World Cup: July 2 until 4
Mega Campeonato: still to be confirmed
Campaign Cup: September 10 until 12

ATTENTION!! All dates subject to change due to venue confirmation. Do not book any flights or accomodation until dates are completely confirmed by The Millennium Series!!

Millennium Series Partner Events
In 2004 the Millennium Series will be expanded by the joining of several Partner events. These events will display the same quality as Millennium Major Events, but since they have just started and the amount of teams is not yet high, the points awarded will count for 80% in the Overall Ranking.
These events as well as the points system will be revealed later before the season.

No Ultimate Ref in 2004
Instead of one or more Ultimate refs for the whole event, we’ll have a Head Field Ref on each playing field. This will be someone who is employed by the Millennium Series.
This means :
- knowing the Millennium Series rules completely
- making decisions about games on the field in difficult situations
- having a good feeling of your responsibility
- evaluating the marshal crew on your field
- changing the set-up of marshals on your field if necessary
This huge responsibility is a great challenge, because you have to lead the field.

Award ceremonies
Each event the award ceremony will take place right after the last game is played, with everyone still there. Think of the Formula 1 racing award ceremonies.
This way we hope to make it quicker and more fun. Each prize winning team (1st place until 4th place) will get 1 minute to thank their sponsors.

Guest passes
Guests are very welcome at each event. On the roster (liability waiver) there will be space for 3 guests (this includes coaches!!). They will have to pay €10 for there card and their name has to be on the roster, wlong with contact information.

Field size
The field size will change to a new standard: 30 meters by 55 meters.

Amount of teams
In 2004 the number of teams per event is limited. This will give you an event which does not exceed our capacity, so it will ensure quality. The rule is: first come first serve.

Staining paint
As for 2003 also for 2004 staining paint will not be allowed. Because of the use of staining paint we have trouble with going back to venues we’ve used. In order to be able to come back to the best places available, no staining paint!!

Do not Bring Your Own
Although the Millennium Series has been a Bring Your Own Event for a long time, considering the new rule on staining paint, we can no longer allow you to bring your own boxes in. All the Milllennium Paint Sponsors are available to you at each event. Buy your boxes there!

Rules 2004
The Millennium Series Rules will be revised for the new season. If you have any input you want to give us, mail at: karlijn@millennium-series.com.

Prizes 2004
All Millennium Series event prizes will be in cash, no vouchers. Amounts subject to sponsorship. Will be announced later on.

Entry fee 2004
Cat.
Pro €1,500
Am A €1,200
Am B €1,000
Nov €900

Game Time
Game time will change from 10 minutes to 7 minutes in every division!

Judging 2004
Next season you will be extra awarded for your skills in judging. The first, second and third best judging team will get cash money.
The Head Field Refs will evaluate each team after the different events and they will also vote. The voting panel will exist of the Head Field Refs, the Millennium Board and players.

:)
The money for the entry has to be put up in order to improve the standard oif the judging, as money wil be paid to the best judges, also to fund series and events cash prizes, and to inprove the facilities that the board offers at each event.

Also it brings the entry into line with what they pay in the NPPL Super 7 Series, as the MS teams paid a lot less for more games and quality facilities.

In my opinion, this is the way to go, whats a 100 Euro increase per team when it works out per player? only 12.5 Euros per player, and look what that gets you , better judges and cash prizes.
