Rankings

Who decides whose Novice Am or Pro, well up until the Millenium series, it was left pretty much to the teams themselves.
There are a few unscrupulous teams around that when things aren't going their way, they cahnge the name, in a bid to con the Organisers, and in an attempt to plunder the true novice divisions.

We at the MM believe that the following should be used to evaluate a teams true status,

Novice - A team in the first year of competetive play, with no more than 1 or 2 experienced players, who in turn should not have played at higher than Am level.
Amateur - A team which has been on the circuit for more than a year, and that fields no more than 1 ex pro player - 5 man, 2 ex pro players 7 man.
Pro Teams - A team should be ranked as Pro when they have either A/ Consistantly beaten Pro ranked sides, Or once they have ammassed a certain amount of tourny victories in Open Class events.
What we would like to see is all Tourny organisers throughout the UK sending their results to a central point, say the UKPSF or PGI for instance, and they issue ranking points, for events based on the strength of the competition, amount of games, etc.

What do you guys think?

In order for us to improve the Midlands Masters, we need the help of you, the players, the Industry, the Marshals, and the press.

How can you help us?
Easy, tell us what you think, be honest.

What do you think of the organisation behind the MM.?

How do you rate the marshalling?

What format do you want to play?

What venues do you want to play at?

Do you think the MM is good value for money?

Are there too many legs?

Would you like to see an Indoor event included?

How about the seeding?

How can we improve the MM for you?

How do we compare to other tournies?

We cannot fix it if we don't know that its wrong!

We value your views, AND ARE PREPARED TO ACT ON THEM.

LTD PAINT

IN REPLY TO BLAKEYS QUESTION ON LTD PAINT ,WASN,T THE WHOLE IDEA OF THE MM TO MAKE IT MORE AFFORDABLE TO MORE PLAYERS/TEAMS WHO HAVN,T GOT MUCH MONEY TO SHOOT AROUND OR ANY SPONSORS TO BACK THEM UP,IT WOULD BE NICE TO KEEP LTD ROUNDS TO ONLY A HOPPERFULL AS I THINK THIS PROMOTES BETTER SHOOTING/ACCURACY ETC ETC.INSTEAD OF JUST PAY PER SPRAY EVENTS,SOME TEAMS (INC US) HAVE TO BEG STEAL OR BORROW TO BE ABLE TO AFFORD TO GO TO UNLTD TOURNEYS SO LTD ONES ARE AN AFFORDABLE BREAK BEFORE THE EXPENSIVE ONES,SO KEEP IT REAL AND JUST STICK WITH A HOPPER FULL ......THANX TO JOHN & STEVE AT PAINTBALL PARK 4 THE GREAT NELSON PAINT AT REAL WORLD PRICES.....L8TERS,BRIAN...UK RAIDERS
