ah! i thought it was someone's development team! im trailing off a little..

back on subject, i have the pleasure of working with Ged for the Diamond Wars Scenario Series, and as Robbo has said, the guy knows his stuff!

It WOULD be nice to see Ged being involved more in UK Paintball Tournie Scene, but the fact is, he's still here in UK Paintball! (and without sounding like a brown nose; he does a damn good job!)

Maybe in the not too distant future, he's name will be regularly known by all again.
sounds interesting.?

Ged is one of an elite bunch of guys in this sport who can be truly described as visionaries.
I spoke to Ged at the recent UKPSF seminar last week and I asked him if he would consider getting involved in our new UK federation, and the answer was 'yes'.
I know this much, if and when, he does become involved, he will be a tremendous asset to our cause.

The other visionaries are Richmond Italia, formerly of Procaps (before he sold it) and he also invented XBall, the other individual in this trilogy is Laurent Hamet who invented Sup'Air.
Without this group of geniuses, we would still be running around the woods which is kinda ironic if you think about it coz there is a trend now to retreat back into the woodland womb.

I was at both Hyperball events and they were a turning point in paintball history.

Given that WDP pumped a huge amount of money and man hours into promoting tournament paintball - for no return - I think Ged Green should be a given some sort of award.

nice idea. Maybe we should do 'P8ntballer Awards' have trophies sent out and stuff? what say you, Mr Robbo? :)

(Votes done on here, of course!)

-and not actual player awards, but contributors etc...

the big award could be 'most contribution to Modern Paintball'

others could be...

Most inventive product design

Most Pointless Product

Most Recognised Commentator

Most Recognised Venue

etc...

S****horpe ... gah
true but sending at trophies would be costly... unless there was a voting charge of say £0.50 or £1 to vote through paypal like plat membership

We did actually do the PGi awards for various categories and I think it might be pretty cool to resurrect the idea.
But before I do, I think it best we come up with some appropriate categories which I will leave up to you guys to suggest.

Location, Location.
I had the pleasure of working with Matt G for a number of years.

I've got to say, the whole family is really behind P'ball. Ged's bought everything forward but im glad he's had the support of his brothers and owen etc...
