Nov-Am

A bit tricky really ain it.

With us we didn't bother with Novice, not because we are think we are too good for it or owt like that coz I reckon there are a few Novs out there that could smash a lot of AM teams to pieces, we just thought 'well fck it let's go for it' and we have. The jump has proven difficult but well worthwile. It also meant we could avoid you Beaker 'coz you scare me :)

It'd rather nice to play you guys again to see how we've come on since last year, you may even be surprised mr. Beak. You doin' any Temple next month??

The main problem is who you compare yourself too.

We haven't played a UK event since last year - In November we won Am at Temple, in December we played Wuzel in the Pro Div.

So when i saw we are Novice that is purely for Millenniums as I feel the UK is a level behind the rest of Europe on average. So if we entered a Uk event I would expect to play as Am or even Pro to get near the same level of competition that we get in Europe as Novice!

I think the some of the UK teams travelling abroad this year are in for a BIG shock - we got ours last year and that's why I want a run at Novice for a year.

Sweet Beak

Sounds like you're one of the few guys/teams that have a decent outlook and understanding of the game. Us UK teams ARE a bit behind some of the Euro teams, especially in the AM/Pro divisions and we are light years behind the yanks. I reckon any AM A yank team would whupp the shiznit outta any UK teams from any level. All we wanna do is learn as much as possible, as soon as possible and aint afraid of how difficult it may be. Gotta admit though, I aint half glad worms and enemy have stepped up to pro this time. Hard work man but it aint half fun dude. We got our first foreign event at Mayhem, that's gonna rule big time man. Can't wait.:D

Al ... I dont think so mate

The yanks are at a higher standard in general. However Tigers, Banzai and Shockwave are not always destroyed by American teams....ESPECIALLY Am teams. Go and check PIGtv and watch Shockwave beat Dynasty in a pretty close game from this years Mardi Gras.

Well, if Jags can't make the podium in Novice with half a team of Pro's then they must be doing something very wrong   but hey - Smoking Beagles didn't manage it at Campaign :p

sorry - couldn't resist :D I will be over to say hi for sure as Dale left Thunder to start Jags so we keep in touch anyway:)

Al

I know what you mean mate and that's really the reason why we haven't played any events this year. We have purely been training so Max is the Acid test - see how good we have/haven't got. We might be playing Temple unless we do Portugal but I will definitely catch up at Mayhem, and chew the fat over the state of UK paintball :)

Hey, I resemble that remark!!

Beak,

You just couldn't let it lie could you??!!! The Beagles thing was 5 of them and 2 ex-Am team players - lets not confuse that with Consilium now.
Should be interesting to see how you guys get on, lets hope we get to play each other, winner buys the beer?

See you in 10 days.
