Bottom line - why shouldn't he have a marker ready to rock? T'ain't against tha law, and if homeboy lived by himself then no-one gonna be touching it...
if he lives on his own fine, but if he does'nt will he have his family wearing a set of jts. shooting in the back garden is fine as long as ur neighbours are aware. i dont agree with shooting in the back garden theres too many risks. also having a ready 2 rock marker will make shooting the neigbours cat too tempting;)
my advice would be to go down the local site and pratice:p

I like the idea of registration of markers. But not for the reasons stated above (ie the control of there use). I like the idea of registering markers with somewhere in order to track serial numbers etc in case some low life decides to 'wander' off with your kit :)

I agree it would be nice to deter the idiots that misuse a gun for stuf liek drive bys etc. to be honest no a lot is helping it atm just looking breifly at movies liek 8 mile where they drive by a police car. Yes ill admit i find it amusing but id much rather have freedom with my marker to go play paintball every week than see some dumb **** liek that ruin it for us all. licenses are too extreme but maybe there should be some sort of record of people who purchse guns like a log book with a car. yeh people can still get it ilegally but it would they really go trought the effort.

Granted, a marker in the wrong hands wouldn't do the sport any good, but you can buy a real live pistol for less than most markers. But, some ballers who own a gun may get carried away, or careless and do somethin' stupid. But i'm not sure if registration would do all that good. After all, the police can't do much against real guns. 'Toy' guns wouldn't get priority would they.
