Anybody hear anything from Mardi Gras yet? I want to know if the Effect/Ironmen game was a bonusball-fest :D

How are the other teams looking in their first games? Curious to see how Strange will handle the step up (probably pretty well considering their history).

Come on, someone help a brother out with some news.

Can you tell I've been stuck in the house without paintball for too long? :p

Worlds number 1 paintball leaque has started (has it?), and where are the results? It is not really hard to get them almost real time to internet, but it seems this is too much to ask.
Or am I the only one, not found any site that offers results faster than days delay?

Well everybody waits that all repairing and all providing TV deal? We could do this better even before those coveted tv-dollars.

Hopefully this season promoters take one computer orientated geek and ask this four-eye to tap those results online as they come in. (not so hard really, done that here in Finland for years now...)
Then again looking the info so far from the major league organizations my expectations are kind of low.

Thanks for Booya39 for that great information about Miami - LA game, if its correct in all its length.

sorry, it was a short phone conversation with someone there. I didn't get all the good details. :) They did say that CL didn't really get a chance to put it on anyone.

Actually what they need is a gamecast like ESPN does for almost every game in most major sports (basketball, football, baseball) including the NCAA. In case you don't know what that is its basically a page the automatically refreshes ever 30, 60, or 90 seconds with updated stats like who made/missed shots, who's up to bat, or who scored a touchdown.

Excellent idea. And if they offered it as an exclusive and promoted it they would generate a lot more interest in league matches and results.

agreed!

I'm sure they could deal with a little more web traffic. They'd also be able to get some statistical data as to how many people are tuning into the matches. That might help in advertising if the numbers are impressive.

Scores look a lot closer than the games did last year. Just evenly matched teams in the first games, or a sign that the teams are more adjusted to the format?

Detroit (former Smart Parts team) tie with Philly (current Smart Parts team). Interesting coincidence or sinister game fixing?

Discuss :D :D :D
