Making Paintball Smarter?

I think its an idea in the right direction though, making awards in tournaments such as most sporting team, most competitive, most amount of maxed games, most improved team etc (just ideas) and provide player awards too like most improved. It would help the paintball scene, and could be awarded in colour style badges for teams to wear.
Something like that should be done at a team level, not league level.
The only awards that should be awarded at league level are League MVP and Rookie of the Year.

The messages and responses are correct. I wasn't necessarily saying looking like an MP more of a shirt with a simple team name stitched into it. Most of the teams just represent themselves from our uni with ties even with fancy dress they wear their ties. It's some form of identity for them and it makes their team mates easier to spot.

As for getting the stuff dirty etc ... That can be easily avoided but getting washed and changed at a site will soon be the case if the uni events are held at ancaster with the new clubhouse etc ...

Was/Isn't this still done every year by the UK Masters?

Maybe if the leagues get it together next season and the Feds get solid they could form a stats system (a la PSP). Maybe I'm dreaming a little?

Dreams can get you places :p

i see no harm in trying to act like 'main stream' sports, but in the current (and improving) state UK paintball is in at the moment it would be a while off, plus buddha is right, this would be mainly done by teams and uni socities etc :p

thats my 27p worth

I can tie a full windsor.
Some schools now have clip ons as part of the uniform. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? It means that the tie always looks respectable, but are we going to have a generation who cant do a tie?
Still, I suppose there are worse things to worry about.
