why not send compensation-refund-checks-whatever to all teams that attended madrid, and then teams that wasnt planning to play more than madrid could sell them to other teams that are? Just an idea..

Oh btw, kudos to the MS board for taking these actions due to the Madrid-affair.

I'm all for getting what we deserve as paying customers in terms of compensation but if we lose perspective in what we ask for then we run the risk of estranging the board, and I would much rather have them in their present state of mind than have them adopting a position of rear guard actions.

I have been one of the board's worst critics in the past but I also appreciate we can get a lot more done if we don't go at it from opposing positions which we are in danger of doing if we demand too much on the back of Pedro's fcuk ups.

I don't think it's demanding too much. It's asking for a way to compensate ALL the teams equally and not only the ones that are gonna play the next two events. Free ID cards or choosing the events where you want the discounts are very easy way for the MS to be fair in this issue.

They have showed they want to fix what was wrong. And we all applaud that. But they need to do it in a way that is fair for everyone and not only a few.

I quite like the idea of the ID card thingy and perhaps this is a good starter for the emerging player's committee to put before the Millennium Board.

It could certainly cut its teeth on such an issue and also provide some working guidlelines and experience whilst presenting this case to the MS.

Clarisa, you seem to be a victim of circumstance here, do you fancy being a player's rep for this committee?
After all, females do have their uses outside of domesticity don't they ?
