For woodland recball the A5 is fine.

If you want to upgrade latter you have plenty of options, an electronic grip frame, with a double trigger would make it fast, and Running it on air (Possibley with a Low presure kit) would stop it freezing up at high rates of fire. and that annoying cload of CO2 you can't see through.

But that lot will bump up the price to something silly.

If price is important and your not after a military looking marker, try getting a spyder. (Cue slagging off)

They aren't much better or worse than an A5, much less durable, but they are cheaper and there is a whole range to suit your wallet.

I'd say the A-5. Good Points in my opinion:-

1.) Cheap, about £280 with Response Trigger.

2.) Reliable, i've not had and problems with it yet.

3.) Modability, you were after bi-pod capability right, well, as seen in one of the links i provided, its great for sticking a bi-pod one. Also, if you want a true scenario marker, it has that potential too.

4.) Its Tippmann, so, even with the cyclone feed system, its simpler to clean and maintain that an Iranians hovel.

5.) It can hold its own against the best, at least in woods ball that is. I've faced off agaings Angels, Cockers, Impulses and managed to, at least hold my own, and even manage to beat them.

6.) Range, with the Flatline Barrel, it can out range anything.

There are probably more good points, if anybody known them, speak up.

Now, the bad, just to be fair:-

1.) The hopper. Its awful, and i hate it, but the good more than makes up for it in my belief.

2.) It can be a bit of a pig to get to bits of it, but the essentials are easy to get too and maintain.

3.) Its easy to maintain in general. I'm not technially minded, and i can cope.

4.) Other 'ballers. Its one of those markers that others just take the piss out of. The site manager at my local site refuses to class me as an own gunner, only because i own a Tippmann, what a swine.

5.) I run it of C02, and i get about 100, maybe 200 less shots from a 20oz because of the cyclone, but its worth it.

Thats about it. I'd go for an A-5. But they i own an A-5, so i'm biased. Its up to you.

I would most definately suggest the RT.
When mine is set up just right, it will empty a hopper in seconds by just allowing the trigger to bounce off your finger.
And, as the other guy said, it is totally legal.
It would also be a good idea to add a level 10 to ensure that you didn't smash half the paint.
Price - not that much. You should get a classic RT for less than £200 now.
