Sam I would just like to commend the polite way you have handled this post, a lot of people just seem to want to start a slanging match on these boards critisizing everything, you have explained what you meant and apologised for any misunderstanding and backed all the good points from the event.

Now to be fair you were very vocal about the marshalling at the previous leg, some which I thought to be unfair but it was your opinion, this shouldnt mean you are penalised at future events, good to hear your not blaming this for your result (which I dont know and didnt see you play)

I dont think the guy should be named and shamed, a lot of people seem to know who he is anyway, i dont, but the important thing is the people in a position to do something about it know, and thats all thats needed.

Thanks Daniel. In retrospect i may have been overly critical of the last event, and i do apologise for that. However i did not name any specific teams or people and i made sure that i generalised where possible.

I would not even try to blame anyone other than us for the results we achieved. We should not have played as poorly as we did, but missing 4 back players explains this to some extent. We will just have to ensure that the performance we give in Sweden is representative of how well we can normally play.

Should i name the 3 players/ teams that i 1-4-1'nd ???
2 4 wiping and 1 for playing on.

I dont think so and the reason is this. They were punished at the time. End of matter and i'm sure that they will be looking everywhere before they try it again and i think their own teams internal justice will work wonders :D

Steps are being taken and the marshal will be shown the error of their ways. Wind up by them or otherwise he/she will reflect long and hard a bit like my 1-4-1 victims:cool:

Dear Sam and fellow players,

If you have complaints or problems with the marshals on the day the first point of call is with the field ultimate,
Then our lovely Ralph (he will be on his hols for the next one)

Failing that me, if you can't find me then let Liz know.

After the event then you need to let me know :)

I do reply to pm’s emails and my always-ringing Mobil ;)

My self and an every growing team have worked really hard to bring you this series from nothing. I would fully admit I am not the most established organiser and this year has been a very steep learning curve. But I do listen, then sit and collate wishes, suggestions and criticisms.

The M25 as quoted by one of the Crew is an emotional experience it's a rampant bouncing toddler that’s says no a lot and yet is still a little cherub once it's asleep.

It's exhausting at times demoralizing but I am still very proud of every single person involved from the crew, marshals, Liz, Ralph, Trevor, Chris (our photographer) and of the teams and you our players.

Some times we all let our self's down players spit the Dummy, I know I get snappy and yes the marshals are human, so occasionally make mistakes.

To produce this M25 during my busiest month on site I have physically worked 14 up to 18-hour days in a row now. Hence not being on the boards, only to culminate collapsing with 24 hour flu and a lemsip frenzy. This is why I have not posted before but Sam has had my pm.

I Have spoken to Richard Sam's captain, I am extremely unhappy about what has happened mud sticks and this was in the words of many of the teams and players the best one so far. I would hate one teenage young mans mistake and bad judgement to influence any of your decisions or lessen your trust in our efforts.

Most of us are very aware of who we are talking about so he dose not need to be named and shamed. I truly hope he has learnt his lesson, as it will be a very hard one.

I would like to apologise to Shock am they are really trying hard to push forward the standard of our English game and as their captain him self told me earlier today “they find playing the M25 has really helped, going from 20th at millenniums to 6th place”

I would like to reassure all our players I do member you are paying customers at the end of the day we are providing fantastic venues for our events and slowly but surely the rest is all reaching these high standards.

Talking to the players Sunday excluding your problem Sam every one was very happy with the marshals.

This is in hand.
