In fact in my own M25 Looking up?? post i had to prevoke reaction by posting again as i could not believe that everyone was happy.
Now you say there's a vendetta against you/shockwave/am because of your comments about the previous leg.
How could one marshal's VENDETTA explain your final score or was it all the marshals on all the fields and best you don't implicate me.
I count many people as friends on all teams. Some i've known for years,some only recently but i'm confident that i have the respect of most.......maybe not
I can assure you of one thing,there is no vendetta against anyone from the organisational side of the M25. Life in Paintball is far to short.
Your previous posting about the Cobham leg was savage to say the least but most seem to have had a good day. Prior to this vendetta posting the only real moans were about the netting, now were on to conspiracy theories

Sam, we will investigate but bear in mind that i'm technically no longer the M25 unltimate but it allegedly happened while i was so i will
so if you could send me all the pm's between you and the other party so we can see who's winding up who.

I would like to say that my team had a good day except for one field and there marshal's and the mix up on who won in division 4 but all in all GOOD day.

I was not there on day but i was informed by whole team that a comment was made to sparklie about one set of marshals.
AS ULTIMATE YOU SHOULD CHECK WITH EVERYONE TO SEE IF ANY COMMENT WAS MADE.

Also this set of marhal's had marshaled several dates.
As above comment My team had a good day and i will leave it at that.

I didnt have any complaints on the day ralph. I thought the day was well organised and well run. i even posted on your thread that the organisational side of the leg was the best at any event i have ever been to. It was only after i got back from the event that the guy in question sent me that pm rewvealing that he had deliberately been unprofessional. I didnt realise this at the event, and as such had no cause for comlaint.

Maybe my wording of the thread was careless. I didnt mean that there was a vendetta against us, as i do not believe this to be the case at all. I only meant that the person in question carried a vendetta against us as a result fo the comments i made about the last event.

It couldnt. I thought that the judging on the other fields was fine. Our score was representative of how we played, and i would not even try to pin that on anyone other than the way in which we played on Sunday. Nobody had a hand in our results other than us, and the teams that fairly beat us.

I know, i never said there was Ralph. I respect the organisation for the hard work that they have put in to providing the M25 area with a series to be proud of

I am not talking about any conspiracy theories as i do not believe any to exist, merely something that happened on one field that has been brought to my attention by the marshall bragging after the event that he influenced the game by being less than honest. I may have been overly harsh in my criticism of the Cobham leg, and if that is the case then i whole heartedly apologise for the outburst, but as you can see if you look back to the previous leg's analysis i was fully praising the events and did not have any bad words to say about them despite the fact that some people were unhappy. As a paying customer (and at the end of the day thats what everyone is) do i not have the right to voice my opinions about the event. The first 3 legs i was supportive of, and i was only angry bout the job the marshalls did. if you re read my cobham posts then u will see that i was in no way having a dig at the organisers as i felt that they had been let down as much as the players had. I respect Sparklie enourmously for what she has done, and the way the marshalls paid her back at that event was poor.

Sam thanks for clearing up many of the points i raised

The reason i wanted to get my point over was that i made a huge stand at the marshals meeting that we were not going to get another kickin on the boards about the performance of the marshals.

Totally understand Ralph. I thought that the event was great. Other than the way we played all day!

I couldnt congratulate Sparklie more for the way that she has raised the profile of paintball in the M25 area. I think the organisors have a lot to be proud of. It just annoyed me from that some people didnt share the organisors enthusiasm and had to act in the manner that they did.

Will you be ultimate next season? Looking forward to seeing what Sparklie has arranged for 2004.
