Me and my mate had a great day and it was well organised. Good to see I was not the only one who had problems with HPAC with the fitting of the nipple. Had to convert my marker back to CO2 and had problems all day!!

Thanks to James aka Kebab for spending loads of time sorting my marker out. Top Bloke!!!

Anyway after seeing the wild geese gear and one of them kind enough to let me have a go of their marker. I am now going to get one!!!!

Thanks for all the positive posts guys and girls, we will definatetly be doing this again, as apart from anything we all loved it.

Next time we will have 2 fill stations, and will tape boundaries differently, to avoid bottle necks, and to allow more movement between areas.

Also a big thanks to all who camped, and took their rubbish and empties with them, it was much appreciated.

See you all at Staar Wars !!!!

As already amply said... THANKS to Laurence, SKIRMISH LASHAM staff, Marshals and air guy.. he worked hard to help.. even with the nipple issue he had (ouch)

Good Day... bit of feet finding I think for Lasham.. but excellent none the less and look forward to more of the same in the future. It is nice to have one in my own back yard fer a change!!

And thanks to the Bling Wraiths/Wild Geese hobitsez, wizards etc for putting on an excellent show of force on both sides..(Adds hugely to the challenge) and making such a big effort on costumes... superb

I have to say I PARTICULARLY enjoyed a gift from the Bling Gods..by lighting up Dangerous Brian Wraith as he headed towards the helicopter. .. yep that was most appreciated when all yer mates came out of the woods.... and gave me pay back - Hell of a fire fight tho :D

Blasphemer! You dare illuminate the Living God! You and your kin shall pay when a tide of Powerball washes you away into the darkness! ;)

I also had a problem with HPAC and my fill nipple. The guy said it was because there was a burr on the nipple stopping it connecting properly? I couldn't really see it but after a bit of filing it fitted - and this is where the thank you's start.

To the guy that lent me the file, thanks very much, couldn't of got playing without you.

To all at Skirmish, especially the long dark haired female marshall (sorry didn't get your name, you came and sat in the Geese tent Sat night) for your hard work - and for putting out a fire! (oops  )

To all the players for making it a great event, everyone played fair and hard - what more could you want!

To the winning team - for holding out in Mordor till the bitter end. :D

And to all those who have made kind comments about the Geese and our pyromania - we aim to please. Just be thankful they wouldn't let us use our really big bangs, for anyone still around late on Sunday evening will know how loud they are, and that they leave a crater!

See you all soon. :)

a blinding day, didn't know it was their first and it certainly didn't show, hope they do it again,

now who else is up to host one? there must be loadsa suitable sites out there? there's a few more scenarios out there too

star trek
matrix
simpsons
x-men (definate scope for dangerous to blew stuff up there)
judge dredd (or 2000ad in general)

and i'd love a farscape one, but that's a bit nice market i'd say, but the peackeeper outfit's would be fantastic
A little dickie bird told me Sunday that the wild geese are looking to hold a big game at Foxwood skirmish next year. How much truth there is in it i don't know, but this site is ideal for a big game. Lots of structures to play in and we are talking big towers and the like. A village slap bang in the centre of the site and the main compound at the centre.

News to me!! :D

Flashpoint 2005 is still at the planning stage but would be played at Holmbush again.

We might produce other games but its still to early in our 'career' so to speak to get to far in front of ourselves.
