Well done for LOTB

Big thanks to all those involved in thinking up the idea for this day, personally had a great time. Well done on the costumes for those that made the effort, especially the Bling Wraiths, didn't see much of the Fellowship out there - where were you guys hiding.

Would definitely like to see an LOTB II, see if we can get even more people down there.

Does anyone have any of the photos that were taken during the day, particulalry the group ones at the end and those taken during the final assault on Mordor (a little biased against those poor good guys)

all the fellowship were there but like Gandalf we changed out of our cosumes into our playing gear before the start which was the tigerstripe with the black webbing with Scottish Warriors on the back............just in case anyone thinks we bottled out of the fighting. we all had a really good day. well worth the trip.

Excellent weekend. A big thanks to all the staff who remained professional and courteous throughout. Big shout to the Ringer Patrol who managed to deck out their tent with an Xbox and karaoke system. Thanks to DB, Gups and the other Knights of Belsales for representing evil in the form of the Blingwraiths. It was an honour to fight alongside you.

Btw. Kitten Katcher....You loved it ;)

OK, heard from the players point of view, now its the turn of the marshals!!

I was the guy running about in the orange t-shirt btw....

Thanks to all you guys for making the day easy, it ran like clock work from the moment you all stepped on the game areas to the moment you left. Only nightmare we had was the food which we could have done better. I think H-pac was an issue aswell (caught many a-player filling with air then walking back into the game and not back to their respective areas!!) but other then that, think it all went pretty smoothly and judging by the coments, you all seemed to think so too...

Special thanks goes to Lawrence for waking me up at 5.30 by chopping wood for the boiler (getting his own back after i told him to go home at 1.30!!) aswell as the bottle of Jamesons I managed to drink the night before to help make the sets of body armour more comfortable to sleep on in the drying room.....

As well as thanking the Marshalls and organisers for a great day, I'd like to thank the Wild Geese for hugely addding to the atmosphere by throwing a pyro every 30 seconds. Those guys must have spent a grand on things that smoke and explode and it certainly added to the enjoyment for me. Cheers lads, see you at Kenny's.

P.S.- could the Goose running a Q-loader give me a PM as I need to talk to him about how it performs. Ta.
